Friday! YAY! Time to fill in the blanks with our co-hosts, 15andmeowing AND Four-Legged Furballs. Four sentences with words left out which WE fill in! Easy – filling in the blanks is fun.
Here are this week’s sentences (two from each co-host). This week I let my Mom fill in ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the blanks by herself. An early Christmas present from me to her (haha).
1. I don’t like too much garlic in my food – it upsets my stomach (didn’t used to – guess it’s an old lady thing for me?!).
2. My to-do list for December includes: finishing up shopping for David and Teddy, _deciding what to make for Christmas dinner and _figuring out what New Year Resolutions to make that I can easily BREAK (haha).
3. I still need to get Christmas cards done before December is over!.
4. To me, remembering what Christmas is TRULY about is the most important part of the holiday season.
There you have it! Another Friendly Friday Fill-In DONE. Thanks to our co-hosts. This is a FUN FUN Hop and I wouldn’t miss it for the world!
Waiting for Santa…………Hugs, Teddy

Nervous Nellie aka Cecilia was getting pretty worried about you two.
No morning post. I was about to call the Warrenton Police department.
I saw that you left a comment at 4:45 am this morning on my Thursday post, so I kept checking back.
Too bad this isn’t Tuesday teaser I’d be first
Hugs Cecilia
PS raw onions are not my friend

The shame of it all with onions is that I LOVE THEM – especially Vidalias! Thank you for worrying about dumb me – I had the post done but forgot to put a DATE on it – just saved it. DUH. Oh well – blame it on the fact I’m old. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

No garlic an old lady thing for me too, no onions anymore either. I used to eat them both with no issues. Lots of things offend my stomach now that never bothered me before.
I was concerned too about no post but I thought I bug you enough! I enjoyed your Fill-Ins… thank you Teddy for letting your Mom do the Fill-Ins! I am looking forward to your Bacon recipe tomorrow, Teddy Boop!

I can still eat garlic in moderation but not onions. Also I used to love hot chillies, now they have to be so mild I can hardly taste them!

Funny how things like that happen to us…..like tomato sauce – never had a problem until a couple of years ago but adding a little sugar has resolved that thankfully!

Well, mama will remeber that garlic part if she ever gets to cook for you! Wouldn’t that be fun? But mama’s good with garlic, and in winter when it sprouts, which is the worst time for garlic because if you don’t take out the green sprout, the taste is too strong and a bit acid. If you can get garlic from Argentina in the winter, it’s best. Some supermarkets have it. It’s summer and garlic season in Argentina. WOW, useless info but still….

Gosh it would be really SWELL if my Mama got to enjoy your Mama’s cooking over a glass (bottle or two??!) of nice vino…….anyway, Mom says sometimes garlic doesn’t mess with her tummy – she always takes the sprout out – someone told her about that years ago. Not sure where our garlic comes from around here but no doubt it’s NOT from anywhere around here!!!
