Happy Friday! Do you realize that this time next week we’ll all have super full tummies? Thanksgiving is the time when there’s a lot of food around – and a lot of us like that turkey stuff our humans eat. Anyway, let’s get down to business with the filling in. We have two co-hosts that each give us TWO sentences with words to fill in as we want to. Here are the four sentences we got for this week. This week if my Mom filled in the blank, the word is BLUE and if I filled in the blank, my words are RED.
1. On holidays, I usually have a second serving of _everything!.
2. I am thankful for _my home, my Mom and Dad and a happy full tummy!.
3. I would like to invite the neighborhood cats who come here often for a handout over for a feast.
4. There was only one orange tabby at the shelter and that was a was a blessing in disguise. (we had hoped to adopt another ginger like Angel Sammy but we would have taken another kitty home if we hadn’t found Teddy!)
Another week of filling in – DONE. Big thanks to our co-hosts for so much fun every week. And since we won’t be together again for filling in until AFTER Thanksgiving – me and my Mom and Dad wish you and your family a VERY HAPPY AND FILLING (!) THANKSGIVING!

ooh we are so glad it was you who was the only one ginger boy….. and we think to invite all cats of your town is a good idea… at least no boring christmas lol

Haha!! That is a cute Garfield cartoon, LOL!
We are all so thankful that you knew where to be on that memorable day when you were gotcha’d, Teddy!
Right now we have over a foot of snow already…and its still snowing and blowing…supposedly till Sunday morning. Lake effect snow bands are horrible when the lakes are not frozen as yet. Our birds can hardly access the food in the feeders, so I have to get out there in my hip waders to clean off the snow and fill them all up…sunflower seeds, peanuts, mealworms and mixed seeds…so many feeders and SO many hungry birdies!
After that we need to get out the roof rake…and the snow thrower will get good use this weekend for sure!
I am thankful that we do not live in Erie county, PA, or the Buffalo, Watertown, NY areas…yikes!!

Yes those folks that got the snow here REALLY GOT IT didn’t they. No snow here so far….cold as heck though and windy. Hope you aren’t trapped in your house – sounds like you have it in hand. I feel badly for the critters who rely on us for handouts when it’s like that and are unable to get to the food we’ve provided. That’s what we do though – just try to keep the “landing spots” clear for them. BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!
Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

It would be nice to be able to take care of all the stray cats and get them all a home, wouldn’t it.
Some things are just destiny!

If only ferals trusted you enough they would have a fantastic dinner

I know…….We feed our ferals on the front porch AND have a heated enclosure in the winter for them. Every little bit helps!
