Friday is here and so are the Friendly Fill-Ins from our co-hosts! Four sentences with blanks to fill – not hard right? Well sometimes it is! Depends on the sentences. Here are the four sentences we got for today’s fun. As we often do, my Mom and I shared filling in responsibilities this week. If the words are my Mom’s they are in RED and if the words are MINE they are BLUE.
1.I’m usually a quiet, mild-mannered kitty cat but sometimes I can be loud and cranky like when I have to have some medicine!
2. A new show ( or book or food) I like is making (and eating) Palmiers – if you don’t know what they are they are DELICIOUS (click here)
3. I would like to skip the next couple of weeks and jump right to our vacation in Maine!.
4. I haven’t been very cooperative since I have to have eardrops for a yeast infection – I HATE IT!
So that’s that for another week. By the way, Mom won’t let me sample those Palmiers but they sure do look good. I think that’s kind of mean that she won’t share!
See you next week for more fill-in fun!
we are with you… ear drops is something we do’t ear-n…never…

Yucky ear drops, eh, Teddy! We would have a conniption, too.
Those Palmiers look YUMMY! A new dessert for the teaser cafeteria!
I don’t blame you one bit for wanting to speed up the arrival of your vacation…though I am sure the days will fly by as they usually do.

I know the days ON vacation will fly by but leading up to it – well – feels like FOREVER! 🙂

Trust me, Teddikins, you do NOT want to eat palmier or you would suffer the….er…consequences, and NO ONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD want that…….have some kibble. Mama can call it a palmier crumbled up and you’ll eat it, trust me.

Oh yeah – I don’t get a sample – Mom eats them all…..no worries!!

I sympathise about the eardrops, Teddy. It’s unpleasant, but you’ll feel better soon.

Oh TEDDY! You Mommy is brave. Mine would fold, and take me to the evil Vet every day for them.

Daddy holds me in a death grip (which isn’t easy with a 28 lb. cat) and Mom puts those drops in so quick it’s like a flash but me – being a drama king – make it sound like I’m being murdered! Tee Hee

Oh yes, Teddy. Part and parcel of being medicated. And it makes them feel so guilty! That is the payback!

Aww poor Teddy. I have three cats each with one goopy ear that flares from time to time. This week was clean out ear week and everyone including the peep was cranky!

A house full of cranky? Well, I guess my Mom is happy she only has to give ear drops to ONE cranky cat! EEEEK!

Teddy I can be loud and cranky when I have to take medicine too especially if it is nasty tasting.

So you are not co-operative when you need eardrops, are you? I’m glad that our Mr. Pickwick (usually) is quite patient when he gets his eye drops. He needs them FIVE times a day – poor guy.
Have a great weekende,
Pit

Oh my! Mr. Pickwick is a very good boy – five times a day is a WHOLE LOT – I should stop complaining about once a day ear drops! Thanks for telling me Mr. Pit – I will try to be more brave like Mr. Pickwick is!

Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry you need ear drops sweet Teddy. No cat likes those. I wish your mom and dad were in Maine now so I could see them- I can’t wait. XO

They will be there soon Miss Ellen! They can’t wait either…..already making lists for packing. LOL

Those Palmiers look awesome and SO SIMPLE! Mom would likely add the cinnamon and maybe a little tiny dip into some melted chocolate, so she could still share the plain part with me. YUM! #luckyifigetacrumb

Sophie hates ear drops too. Well, hers is more like an ear flush – then she shakes her head and soaks us!

Teddy’s are kind of like that too – a dropper full of this oily stuff and he always shakes his head and gets it all over us and everything around us but hopefully MOST of it is doing some good in his ears! LOL

Our mom loves Palmiers. She says she’d learn to make them, but if she did she’d probably gain 25 pounds. Cooper Murphy had a similar fill-in for #1, and he doesn’t even have to take medicine. Mom Pam and Dad David’s vacation will be here in the blink of an eye.
