It’s Friday and we’re filling in the blanks for this fun Blog Hop. It’s cohosted by Four-Legged Furballs and 15andmeowing and if you’d like to play along too – just click the badge above and look for the link!
Here are this week’s FOUR sentences with blanks for us to fill. This week I let my Mom fill in ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the blanks. Yes I like to spoil her once in a while and think she’s in charge of things around here with my blog. Tee Hee Mom’s words are in BLUE!.
1. If you see me roller skating it means _you’re hallucinating – I haven’t done that in over 65 years!
2. I am feeling sad about the Ukraine.
3. I wish I could go back and relive the moment when we first saw Teddy at the Shelter – it was love at first sight!.
4. I would like to swap lives with NOBODY for a day (I really like my life just the way it is….and besides, one day would just be a “tease” and you’d have to return to your own life after which may be a little depressing…haha).
OK – done! Good job Mom. Know what? I remember when you and Dad came to the shelter…………..You thought I was asleep but I wasn’t – I had one eye open hoping someone would think I was adopt-worthy. When you came to my cage and let me out in the little room I followed you around right at your feet and when you sat down I did my “happy dance” for you until you picked me up. I knew I “GOTCHA” right then! I’m awfully glad you and Dad took me home.
So – before we go we want to say that we are hoping and praying that one of the kitties at 15andMeowing – sweet Emmy – will feel better soon. She has medical issues and some of them are tough but we know that she is in the BEST HANDS possible with her Mom Ellen. All of Miss Ellen’s kitties get the best care in the universe. Please keep Emmy in your prayers.

See you all next Friday for more filling in fun!
Great fill ins. I only roller skated once and decided it wasn’t for me! I agree with you on #2.

I LOVE skating. I did it at the rink, starting when I was 12. LOVED it. Boy did I ever get injuries. Kept it up as much as I find a rink till my 30’s. That’s when I really hurt ny leg. I wonder what Teddy’s life was before he came to the shelter. But I know what it is now. Perfect.

I have wondered FREQUENTLY what his life was like – he was 11 months old when we found him at the shelter. That was almost a whole year of possibly being a barn cat or feral – he was just so darn cute I could NOT resist that Happy Dance he did all over the shelter. Yep – we intend to give this guy the perfect life he deserves!!!!

Love your fill-ins. I hat to chuckle at roller skating. I was never very good at it.
I’m being ever so quiet so I don’t wake Teddy. Loved your adoption story. You’re smart.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. Scritches to Teddy. ♥

Scritches delivered – he gave me one of those one-eyed “why’d you wake me” stares….hahaha. I wasn’t all that great at roller skating – balance was my problem!

Roller skating was such fun. I recall gong to the skating rink every Saturday. The last time I skated was when I went with Marlu’s Junior Girl Scouts.

I can’t remember the last time I skated but I do remember how irritated I’d get when I’d get to one of those “lines” across the sidewalk that tripped me up on my skates! BOOOOO!

Those were good answers, the Dad hasn’t roller skated in about that long too. We’re sure praying for sweet Emmy.

I think our parents should just revisit roller skating in their memory and not put those skates on NOW – it would NOT be pretty! LOL

I used to roller skate as a kid, but like you, I haven’t done it in a long time! I’m not sure I’d trust myself too. I’d need to wrap myself in bubble wrap!

I can remember a million years ago when they televised roller skating with two womens’ teams – they tried to murder each other around the rink. It was interesting to say the least.

I’d love to roller skate again but with my balance I can barely walk right! Mollie is a cat that was a love at first sight cat. She just needed me. Most of the rest needed a home and it turned out to be a good match.

I have always believed things work out the way they’re SUPPOSED to! Our cats are with us because they touched the “Mom gene” we have….And we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🙂

I tried to roller skate when I was seven and nearly killed myself…no kidding, a workman next door saw me crashed and unable to move, he ran over picked me up and brought me into my Aunts house where I was staying…I still remember that..and no I have not tried it since.
II said a similar thing for #4, and sort of the same for #3…I still want to start over with Groucho my first kitty. Ever. He was so scared at his new forever home…but I would love to do it all over again.
