My selfie today is more of a “yard selfie” as I’m just a minor part of the photo I’m sharing. Mom took a photo of me enjoying the early morning sunshine in the front yard on Friday. It was a beautiful morning and watching the light play through the trees (which are finally beginning to leaf out!) made for a nice photo. It was slightly foggy so things are “softened” a lot by the fog AND probably Mom’s camera too. LOL
I thought this might make a pretty “artified” photo so I added a Lunapic filter………………….

Wow, Teddy, your yard became a fiery puzzle!
Your spring seems to be quite a bit further along than ours…though with the warm temps we are having this weekend, we might just see an explosion of leaves and blossoms, too.

Things popped here over a couple of days…..we’d had colder weather and it sort of STOPPED the progressing of buds opening, leaves popping open, etc. but now that we’ve had a couple of warm days, everything is moving again!!!

In a few weeks when it’s “reliably warm” I’ll begin seeing the lizards that live around the garden and I do love to chase them. Mom quit painting years ago but thanks (she said) for the compliment about her work AND our yard!

I’mkinda like Dash Kitten there. I LOVE that first one but the artified one is very interesting. Teddy…I see you resting there, smelling all the green and the flowers. I would be too. If it’s warm enough here, mom said she may go out on the deck under the umbrella.

It’s supposed to get to 85 here today Katie – goodness – I probably will be sticking to the shade again! Our yard has lots of different areas to wander in….woods, piled up leaves, dirt, grass, under trees and shrubs. Something for EVERYBODY!

We do have a big yard but Mom and Dad say it’s an awful lot to take care of. I do my bit – I eat the grass when it’s long….that counts right?

It is gorgeous here NOW but the weather peeps say we might have t-storms this afternoon. I think they’re nuts – we’ve been outside a lot today and there’s NO SIGN of weather coming……I know it’s only noon but I think NO on the t-storms! Hope you and SSNS have a beautiful day down in Florida-land!

Thanks! I really love my yard – so many places to explore and even though my Mom or Dad trails along with me, I can go anywhere I want to as long as it’s in my yard.

No it’s the road….does look like a stream…….we DO have a stream way down through the back woods though – a runoff stream so it only is “active” when we have rain.

It is still nice to live near a little nature. When I met my wife, we rented a little cottage on a large plot of land that bordered the Gulf. The landlord had 19 cows at the time that we needed to feed and keep a water supply for them.
