Friendly Fill-Ins on Friday

Greetings Fill-In fans!    Time for the Blog Hop that tells everyone more about ourselves.   Our two co-hosts give us two sentences each with blanks to fill.   Simple right?    It is but it’s also tons of fun to learn new stuff about our friends.   Just click the badge above if you want to add your post with fill-ins to the Hop.

Here are the sentences we got from our co-hosts this week.    I’m letting my Mom do the whole thing this week.    That way I won’t be able to mess up the color assignments like I do all the time!!!!  HAHAHAHAHA     Mom’s words are RED!

1.  My cure for the hiccups is the old fashioned “hold your breath” cure.
2. I am currently watching ( or reading) Season Three of Shakespeare and Hathaway – hilarious British series.
3. I would recommend Maine to anyone who loves rocky shorelines.
4. I can do without having my own vegetable garden as long as the farmers’ markets are here – and we have some good ones around here!

OK Mom – thanks for doing the WHOLE THING on your own today.   Maybe I’ll do them all NEXT week!     Anyway, Mom and I hope you all have a wonderful Friday AND weekend.

Hugs, Teddy and Mom

  1. I don’t think I have seen that show…Hmmm, must check it out sometime.

When I lived in Nova Scotia I loved the rocky shores there too.

Farmer’s markets are wonderful places to shop for the freshest veggies and fruit. I don’t have a veggie garden either. (Just some easy to grow small ones in patio pots.)

  2. 1. My cure for the hiccups is to drink water upside down from the outer edge of a glass. Works every time.
    2. I am currently watching Normal People, Modern Love episodes, Criminal, and The Eight Days That Made Rome.
    3. I would recommend sleeping, above anything else.
    4. I can do without having to feed myself (!) as long as MAMA AND PAPA KNOW HOW TO OPEN A KITTY FOOD PACKAGE!

  3. Pam, Jerry’s younger brother and his wife are in Bar Harbor on vacation as I type! Unfortunately they are experiencing lousy weather. I don’t think they are there for the rocky shorelines; they are there for the lobstah shacks! Farmers markets are the best! Teddy, thanks for letting your Mom do the Fill-Ins… look for your contribution next week! Good Morning!

    • Oh lucky peeps in Maine right now but sorry the weather is stinky. We are hoping it will be beautiful when we go next month… year we had rain for two days but we didn’t mind – we just carried on enjoying the peace and quiet and LOBSTAH!!!!!!!!!!

      Love, Pam

  4. Oh, Teddy so good to see you💗We don’t know the serie, but it seems like a good serie. We have to look into it, so maybe we can watch it somewhere on Netflix? Pawkisses for a wonderful weekend to all of you. Hopping over to Angel Sammy for the poetry, so see you there😸🐾😽💞

    • My Mom and Dad bought the DVDs of Shakespeare and Hathaway from PBS after they’d seen it on TV (PBS) and loved it SOOOOOOOOOOO much. Great acting – funny and exciting all rolled into one!

      Hugs, Teddy

  5. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Holding my breath never helped with my hiccups. I am with you on #4, we grow less every year and rely on the farmstand in town.. Have a nice weekend. XO

  6. Grate Fill-Innss. BellaSita iss goin due hers here~~~
    1) My cure for hiccups is to hold my breath & swallow three times. It actually works! (After a few attempts!)
    2) I am currently reading “Hideaway” by Dean Koontz! YIKES! It is a spooky story!
    3) I would recommend living in the country to anyone who wants a quieter life.
    4) I can do without Ice Cream as long as I have CHOCOLATE!!!! (hehehe)

Purrty guud BellaSita! Thanx Miss Pam an Teddy!
    ***purrss*** BellaDahrma an ❤ BellaSita

  7. I wish I knew how to hold my breath when I got hiccups. I just have to wait it out while Mom laughs at me. When she was a teacher, she would take the kids to the water fountain and have them sip water while she held their ears shut. It was foolproof – which was good because third graders get hiccups a lot.

    Love and licks,

    • WOW Cupcake…..that’s a new way to stop hiccups that your Mom used to use on the kids – sure have read a lot of interesting ways to keep hiccups from driving us nuts – I have had them a few times and Mom seems to think it’s funny too!

      Hugs, Teddy

  8. I never heard of Shakespeare and Hathaway. I should check that out. I would love to go to Maine after last year’s trip there got cancelled. My wife wants to go back to Germany next year so maybe 2023. I would also like a vegetable garden. My garden in Florida doesn’t get enough sun so nothing grows well there. IT would probably do well here in WV but I am not here during planting season.

I wanna know what YOU've got to say!!
