Happy Sunday. It’s Selfie day with our hosts at The Cat On My Head. We just all share photos of ourselves and link up in the Hop. You can do that too if you like – click on their badge above and link up with your photo post. Easy!
Mom promised me that she’s get some new photos of me for my Selfie today……..well, she didn’t do that. She had ALL WEEK and still no new photo to share. Well I suppose I’ll forgive her because she is my Mom and she HAS been busy………So for my selfie today we have to dig back in the Teddy Archive and find one from this same time in the past – here’s what we came up with!
Well this is a goodie – and it’s already been “jazzed up” on Lunapic – it’s a photo of Mom playing with me on September 3, 2017 which would have been my first September living with my Mom and Dad. I doubt if back then Mom was making puzzles out of my selfie photos so we’ll just make one NOW and share it with all you puzzlers out there.

Mom remembers now (she didn’t when we posted the photo) that what I was swatting was the ratty old white mouse that Angel Sammy left behind when he flew to the Bridge. It was my first toy here and I carried it around in my mouth for several months and swatted, sat on, dragged around until it literally fell apart.

Howdy Miss Pix! Glad you like the photo – yes it’s an oldie but it’s better than no selfie at all right? I’m starting to think I need to make my Mom wear the camera on a chain around her neck ALL THE TIME so she can take photos of me with NO EXCUSES. Hope you and Mr. SSNS have a perfectly swell Sunday AND Labor Day too (with no laboring!).

YES! You remember him! That mouse was my treasure and poor Mom put so many “bandages” on it that’s all that was left after a while…it’s gone now but I will never forget it – Sammy kept it in my Dad’s kitchen chair at the back. My first day here I found it, pulled it off the chair and played with it until – well – until it was just rags. I “loved it to death” Mom says!

I did find the original – it was fun to take photos of Ted at that age -he wasn’t familiar with toys since he was a feral for almost a year before coming to the shelter…….he learned quickly though!
