Here are this week’s four sentences and Mom and I shared filling the blanks in again this week. Mom’s words are RED and mine are BLUE.
1. I wish life were/WAS as simple as eating, sleeping, and playing – oh – wait – IT IS!!!!!!
2. My plans this weekend include a cookout with neighbors and grocery shopping .
3. It’s hard to believe that we’ve had 90+ degree days and it’s not even summer yet – eeek.
4. I need enough sleep in order to have the energy for a busy day – but sleep is hard to come by most nights!
There you have it – we did our filling in again and I must say this is one of our favorite days of our blogging week because it doesn’t take me and Mom an hour to get it done. Most days we have “things” we do regularly on my blog and it takes a while to do the more complicated posts. This one is “short and sweet”………….we love it!

Wow, 90 is hot! We have been mid 50s but yesterday managed 66F. It was supposed to be continuing good weather from yesterday but we woke up to rain again this morning. Now they say the weather is improving from Sunday.
I hope your mom and dad have a lovely cookout with the neighbours.

Know what you mean about sleep. I have the magic (yuk) hour of 3:30 thereabouts to wake up and lay there occasionally dozing off and on if I’m fortunate.

Oh boy not enough sleep here either. Everyone is used to the new hours so when son is off they still get up early and wonder why I am not. LOL. Rain today. Says a nice weekend-60’s 50 today. We have something called a Brat Fest. Normally a big doings but; not the last two years. Canceled. This year businesses are doing it and one is in town tomorrow so going to get some brats. They raise money for local charities. Have a great day.

We love brats! In fact we’re having brats and knockwurst at the cookout on Monday! Teddy gets up at 3AM PERIOD every single day so I just get up then too. That’s why I never stay late at Scouts stuff – I go to bed around 7:30 or 8PM! We do anything for our cats right?

My wife is on her way back from Virginia today. When she left for Virginia she was hoping to get out of the Florida heat and enjoy cooler weather. I think she was disappointed.

We were at 86F the other day, and now we were at 57Fyeaterday and after a cool night, we will be about 62 today. Then in the 30’s overnight. Brrr. It might be 72 on Monday…at least any outdoor activity won’t be sweat filled!

Yeah our temps have been ridiculously “elevator-ish” too….up/down/up/down. It’s crazy! Our HIGH today was 54 for Pete’s sake. Oh well…..whatchagonnado? At least we had a fire in the fireplace for “cozy” and while it’s probably the last one of those days until next Fall, it was super fun.
