Sunday Selfie Hop

Standard

YAY – Sunday again and time for Selfies.    If you’d like to strut yourself and share your photo please do – click on the badge above and link up with all of us.    Mom actually took some photos of me this week – he caught me resting from playing like a madman with my toys in the living room.   Two new ones got me going – the red prawn and the taco – both of which have catnip AND silvervine.   I like them a bunch.   The other toys in the photo are my current “favorite toy” pile.    It changes all the time.

Yes I know you can’t see a taco…….it’s that thing I’m lying on – with the yellow strings sticking out (which I suppose are supposed to be cheese?????).    Now we realize this is a rather boring photo SOOOOOOOOOOOOO you know what Mom did – she went to Lunapic and added an art filter.    This filter was called FLASH GORDON and we could hardly wait to see what THAT would look like……………WOWZA is all I can say – check it out:

Now if that’s not interesting I don’t know what is………….of course we just HAD to make a puzzle out of this one.   I like my blue toesies – don’t you?????????????????

As usual, if you click this MINI-ME puzzle photo it will take you to the puzzle – good luck !

Way to go Mom!   You’re the bomb when it comes to mowing MY lawn!

Happy Sunday, Hugs, Teddy

    • Hi Loulou……I like to chase the skinks – they’re super fast and like to hang out in the sunshine. I’m not fast enough to catch ANYTHING but it’s good exercise to try!

  1. Boy Teddy, you sure have THE filter for your selfie today!!!
Mom hasn’t tried the selfies again because she thought maybe it was different to do after Google changed the blogs on is last year.

  3. Not too much you can do if your belly flops onto your taco toy. Don’t worry, buddy. It’ll show back up when you roll over… Maybe there can be a new guessing feature on your bloggie called: What’s Under Teddy’s Tummy?

    Love and licks,

    • Oh Cupcake that’s hilarious……and I could do that – maybe I’ll try that one of these days. I’ll leave just a tiny hint of an edge of the toy visible under my belly and everyone has to guess what it is.

      HAHAHA

    • Strange art effect but there are some really strange ones on Lunapic. Mom found one yesterday called SNAKE. Well, it freaked her out – she’s not a snake person!!! I’m sure you must miss the Tiny Ten – you had a beautiful huge setting for your pretty house and the gardens, etc. but you now have a MANAGEABLE house/yard and that is SMART…..unless you have a full time gardener that is then you can live wherever you want to! HAHA

    • Our lawn looks like this in early Spring every year and by the time the summer has baked everything to a crisp, we have huge bald spots. This is our favorite time of the year for the lawn!

  5. You have a lovely lawn, Teddy. Great art and I do like your blue toesies.
I have come to the conclusion that Lunapic has some different filters between the UK and US site. I have never seen that one, and yesterday I saw another one somewhere that I hadn’t seen before. Thanks for the puzzle.

    • Miss Jackie on Lunapic under category “ART” the second listing “NEWEST ART EFFECTS” is where Mom finds the new/unusual ones. There are so many things you can do on that site – she’s pretty much just stuck with the ART effects and rarely gone to other categories. But that second one “NEWEST” has some weird things like “leopard” that gives you leopard skin. There’s also “SNAKE” which is – well – you know what that is and Mom HATES that one. HAHA

      • I have used various ones from the “Newest art effects” but of course they don’t show the name like they do with the original ones until you use it. I will have to try and remember which are which.

    • We have a great small lawn tractor and you can see how wide a swath it cuts…..takes her about 40 minutes to do the front AND back yard! Plus she LOVES DOING IT……..like driving a kiddie car she says. HAHAHAHAHAHA

  6. Teddy! Jo Jo saysyYou look magnificent! She thinks your blue paws in the art are way cool too! Mom and me can’t wait to do the puzzle. And look at that lawn! Not a single dandilion in site! We have a bumper crop of those this year! We hope you and your family had a wonderful weekend!

    • I’m happy that Jo Jo thinks I look magnificent…..I do think that particular art filter is pretty amazing and aptly named!!! The puzzle is tough because of the color I think. No dandelions in our lawn – I think that’s because of the landscapers who look after the lawn’s fertilization, etc. They know when to do stuff to keep it green and pretty when it’s supposed to be. HOWEVER, even they can’t save it from frying in the summer heat later this year! LOL

  7. What a nice pic of you, Teddy! I can see you eyes, too…so its a good selfie! That art ssure is a WOW! And the puzzle will occupy any free time I might find, if I hunt long enough:)

I love it too, when the lawn is freshly mowed and all pristene like that! Makes a large, long yard seem like a park!
