SPARK on Monday

Standard

Here we are again………………it’s Monday and time for an inspirational thought – a little something to get us through another week.  Everyone is invited to participate by posting their OWN thoughts on their blogs – SPARKS inspire all of us!   “SPARKS” was started by Annie McGuffy of McGuffy’s Reader but ended when her blog was hacked some time ago.  It was meant to be a way to start out each week with with a meaningful thought – something that spoke to each of us and hopefully everyone else who read it.    Sometimes we need a little “spark” in our lives and these posts were meant to at least be a PART of that effort.    Those of us who enjoyed sharing a SPARK with Annie have continued doing so on Mondays – and we hope one day soon Annie will be back blogging with us again.    Please feel free to post a SPARK of your own and let everyone know you have…….we get energy from each other that way!

I was thinking about the future yesterday – I know we are far from shutting the door on the pandemic but we are BETTER off than we were a year ago I think.    So I’m thinking more about the future.   The immediate future and the “future” future.    You know what I mean.    And I saw this quote which I happen to love.   I thought I’d share it with you.

I do a lot of SPARKS about hope.   Without hope – what is there?    I can definitely hear the music – and in spite of having two left feet, I DO intend to dance to it today and for the rest of my life.

Have a good week!

Love and Light, Pam (and Teddy too)

  1. Oh how we LOVE Monday Spark(les)s…..THANK YOU for an uplifting message and yes, we are going to dance even with NO music.
But you gotta make your own kind of music
    Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along

I’ll bet we would sing along to one another’s songs, always!

  2. You always find such good Sparks. At long last the future is looking brighter and we can (metaphorically) dance again.

    • We had faith that we’d make it this far so we need to keep it going with faith for the future…..Thinking about how lucky we’ve been to this point kind of makes us more hopeful about the future!!!

Now if only I knew how:)

I won’t be dancing behind the lawnmower, though…more like trudging! LOL!
Off to get my weekly covid test first though. I an hopeful it will still be negative as it has been all along…

  4. Oh wow, that is the best Spark we have seen in a long time. We LOVE it. Mom and Dad are supposed to do their first restaurant dinner next week. Hopefully they will get to eat on the outside patio – plans rest with the leader of the group heading out to dinner. But it is nice to have something to look forward to.
