I decided to let my Mom be the STAR of today’s Fill-Ins instead of us sharing the duty. Nice of me huh? Take it away Mom (her words are in RED).
1. I wish I knew how to play the piano – I used to play MANY years ago.
2. If offered a free trip to space, I would respectfully decline….not that I’m afraid to go, it’s just that going up there and coming back wouldn’t be as much fun as going up there and staying at a hotel on the moon – I’m holding out for that.
3. Planning for a vacation in October is the most exciting thing in my life right now.
4. I could give a long lecture on the topic of why it’s not always a great idea to get married VERY YOUNG.
Thanks Mom – I’m feeling particularly lazy today so I thought if I let YOU do the fill-ins I could have more nap time. Next week I promise I’ll help!

I wouldn’t want go into Space either. We are hoping for a vacation in October also, to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

No trip to space for me either but SSNS would go. Not much exciting going on at our place,,, we are pretty boring. That looks like a cozy napping spot, Teddy Boop! Good Morning, Virginieeeeee!

Boring is not such a bad deal…..we have lots of boring time too but like it because it’s SPRINGING here and so beautiful – we enjoy just looking at the new leaves and grass and azaleas blooming – at least boring is pretty. I know it’s pretty there too and after moving “stuff” and all that’s related to it, boring has to be pretty danged nice for you and SSNS right?

Pam, I just know that if you were to sit down at a piano with some music like you used to play, it would ALL come back to you! That happened with me. Now I’m thinking of getting another piano… I really miss playing, especially Christmas hymns. Cute pic of Teddy!

I may get out my electronic piano….it’s been in the basement for YEARS and needs batteries but I probably could play SOMETHING on it – chopsticks maybe. HAHAHAHA

I’m also looking forward to a vacation. I think July will be canceled 😦 so I’ll be on the lookout for a domestic trip – but hoping Europe will open in 2022. I too wish I would have learned to play the piano. Have a good weekend.

Mom and Dad want to do a river cruise next year……Avalon through France ending with a couple of days in Amsterdam. I hope everyone who loves traveling and seeing the world is able to do it by next year!!! Let’s hope everyone’s hops come true Mr. Frank! 🙂

She actually has an old electronic piano in the basement – it isn’t a full keyboard but has full size keys and I bet she could play if she really WANTED to!

I played the piano many, many years ago too. Took 6 years of lessons and probably if I sat down to one today, I wouldn’t be able to play it 😦

Teddy, we can tell you have had a lot of practice napping, as is appropriate. Our mom agrees…just going to space and turning around and coming back sounds boring. Mau and Lily Olivia and some of the other Kitties Blue did, however, enjoy going to space with Sammy. We are so happy your peeps will be able to take their Maine vacation this year. That trip to space with Angel Sammy was SOOOOOOOOOOOO much fun – Mom has told me all about it and it’s one of my favorite bedtime stories – all the fun they had, things they saw and did. Now that was a trip and a half wasn’t it!!

The diet is NO FUN – I am eating only because I don’t want to starve to death. LOL Mom has been putting a Churu treat in with the icky wet food and I’ll MOSTLY eat it. That’s cheating though. I really truly loved my dry diet food. Sniff Sniff……. 😦

Mom says she’d go to space if she would LAND up there somewhere, stay in a luxury hotel, then come back to Earth. Up in the air and back down sounds boring. HAHAHAHA
