Sunday Selfie Hop

Standard

Alright! Well, Mom didn’t hobble around with a camera again this past week – so I’m having to resort to flashbacks YET AGAIN. Mom is falling down on the job but I have to cut her some slack – she can’t get around so well but after her hip surgery this coming Friday I bet she can run marathons!!!!   If you’d like to join in the Hop just click the badge above, go to The Cat On My Head and link up!

This little gem is from January 7, 2018 – I like the art effect and I just bet I did a puzzle back then – let’s see – if I didn’t, I’ll do one for you!

Hmm….I didn’t do a puzzle back in 2018 but I just did one so here it is:

Click the Mini-Me for the puzzle and GOOD LUCK!

See you next Sunday – Mom has surgery Friday so I’m hoping she will be BACK in business on the computer Sunday.  I will encourage her…………..

Hugs, Teddy

  1. That is a lovely selfie and artsy effect, Teddy. I will be keeping your mom in my thoughts when she goes for her surgery. She will be running around like a teenager again afterwards.

    • Teddy is going to be taking good care of me (probably his Dad will help too!). I expect to be back in the saddle (or desk chair) pretty quickly – that hip surgery is a lot easier the way they do it THESE days than how they used to do it. Anyway, I will feel funny not sitting at the computer for a couple of days but I think I will be also enjoying the break from computerizing!!!!

  3. I love this effect! Looks like little round coins or those round wafers we used to buy in the plastic sleeve. What were they called… I ate them all the time. Necco Wafers! You look very content here, Teddy Boop! Your Mom has been on my mind more often than you know since I heard she was going to get a new hip. She will be giving it a test drive before you know it. Sending tons of positive thoughts.

    • Hi Miss Pix! I am content – I couldn’t have a better home or parents – I was so lucky to find them (or have them find me!). Mom says she remembers Necco Wafers….she would get those when she went to the movie (along with Good and Plenty) when she was a youngster. Mom appreciates that you have her on your mind…..she says she gets energy from that! Keep it up please!

  5. Looking handsome as always, T. Knowing your mom, she will be up and running real soon. Good luck, Pam! Mom and I said some prayers already, and we will say some more as your mom recovers and starts training for those marathons in her future. My mom is taking one of her friends for hip replacement surgery the following week. Maybe they can race each other!

    Love and licks,

    • HAHAHA….Mom says she will be happy if she can “race” to the bathroom after the surgery. Racing with a walker might be problematic but if anyone can do it, my Mom can. Actually this surgery is supposed to be super fast recovery – they will have her up and moving the next morning before she’s discharged. We’ll take care of her when she gets home….and she starts PT right away. Marathons just might be in her future! HAHA Thanks for the prayers Cupcake…you and your Mom are SO SWEET to send them. We hope your Mom’s friend recovers from her hip surgery quickly too!!!

  7. That looks like a type of mosaic art, Teddy!!
Teddy, I know you’ll be a good nurse and a purring therapy machine to get your Mum up and running…(well, at least walking!), really soon.

I’ll be praying for a good surgery and guidance to the surgeon’s hands to do the best ‘job’ he can. And for a relatively pain-free recovery.

Physio is a great help too, as pawppy can attest to from when he had a new hip put in way back in 2013. I think he wishes he’s done it sooner, cause his misery was over right away! (Wish we could say the same about the current detour in his life…but we are gradually inchiung forward…)

Meanwhile a ton of virtual hugs and good wishes!
