Spark on Monday

Standard

This series of posts called “SPARKS” was started by Annie McGuffy of McGuffy’s Reader but ended when her blog was hacked some time ago.    It was meant to be a way to start out each with with a meaningful thought – something that spoke to us and hopefully everyone who read it.    Sometimes we need a little “spark” in our lives and these posts were meant to at least be a PART of that effort.    Those of us who enjoyed sharing a SPARK have continued doing so on Mondays – and we hope one day soon Annie will be back blogging with us again.

So this is the last SPARK before Christmas. Well of course I had to find something about Christmas and just when I was about to give up – I found this………………….so without a lot of fanfare or explanation (because it doesn’t really need it!) I give you my SPARK to you from me with appreciation for being a blog friend. May your holidays be merry and bright.

Hugs, Pam

  1. This is the best saying this year. It only takes for us to be still for a space of time, from all things we do; and turn our attention to what we have truly been blessed with and give thanks. Then, to do as this spark says. I try to do this every day.

    • We are determined to have a super Christmas and I’m sure we will – the spirit of Christmas is ALWAYS in the air – we just have to grab it and hold it tight – in spite of anything else going on!

  2. It’s late and I can’t sleep. How did I miss this? I guess I felt like I talked to you… 🙂 This is the perfect Spark for now and forever. I think the giving thanks is something I try to do every day. The gifts to pray for and hold close are a true comfort. Just giving them attention gives a peace within.
