Mom and I are sharing again today with the filling in duties. If the words are from MOM, they are in BLUE and if the words are courtesy of ME – Teddy – they are in ORANGE!
1. I never thought I would say this, but I love staying at home – I don’t miss the hustle bustle of dealing with traffic, etc. ONE BIT!.
2. I can’t believe Christmas is not far away – I LOVE to get under the Christmas tree!!!!.
3. Sitting on my bench in our woods OR reading (or both) is how I deal with stress.
4. Now is the perfect time to start behaving so Santa Claus brings us toys and treats!
Mom says she would have answered the same as I did on my two fill-ins……well………except maybe for getting under the Christmas tree (hahahahahahahahahahahahaha).

Hi Loulou! Mom and Dad have a small plane – a Cessna – two-seater. Mom often brings her camera along when they fly and this time of year the Fall trees/colors are so pretty. This photo was taken about 30 miles away from my town out in the countryside of Virginia. Mom doesn’t often fly with Dad as she has things to do around the house but when she does, she never gets tired of how beautiful our area is with mountains and valleys and lots of farms to see! Happy Friday…….

Happy Friday! That photo of the woods is one my Mom took while she and Dad were flying in their plane not too far from our town – the trees just looked so pretty Mom took a photo. So many colors!!

You absolutely ARE a bit large for “under the Christmas tree” stuff Clowie but you can guard it better standing up anyway. Mulberry can keep an eye on the presents UNDER!

I am okay with being home but I am concerned that I soon will be anxious over having to go out at all. I lost my glasses during the move and I have no desire to get out and get new ones. I need to do it because I can’t see a thing! I will do it eventually, in the past I loved getting new glasses. I have a back-up pair. Beautiful, beautiful fall from above! Teddy, I am an adult peep and I still like to sit under the Christmas, it’s the getting up part that’s a problem… Ha! Good Morning, Virginieeeeeeeeeee!

So far I’m not anxious about going out – I just don’t. HAHA David runs a few errands for “us” but I really like being a homebody. I would like to go out to dinner again SOME DAY but for now, things are “tolerable”. I must say though we were just talking about eye appointments a couple of days ago and said we ARE going to get checks before Christmas. I know I need new glasses plus I need to keep tabs on my eye problems like getting glaucoma test and cataract check. As for the tree – I really do like to sit NEAR the tree – in fact I always play Santa on Christmas morning digging things out from under for David (and me and Teddy)…..but it’s becoming a problem…..it hurts to get down and hurts again when I try to stand up! NOT FAIR IS IT!

Yes, right now it is projected to head for us. Hoping it changes course. There is a chance it could get us again when it zigzags back after the first time. I am so tired of hurricanes and the election. Really, enough is enough.

TOTALLY AGREE……….you know when Mom lived in Clearwater they never had a hurricane. Weather patterns have changed so much and it’s just awful to have to WAIT for storms to hit and hope things aren’t really BAD. Let’s hope it changes course!!

Nope! Never – neither did my predecessor Sammy. Both of us just like being under it….! Long ago my Aunt Carol’s dog pulled her tree (which was a tabletop tree) – broke some ornaments and she never got another tree after that!

Our Robin used to climb the tree and knocked it down a few times.
That view of the trees reminds me of going over the Smokies to my boy in Charlotte. We have the same trees here too. They didn’t do as well this year around here for some reason.

I’ve never climbed the tree – but I sure do like looking at it and lying under it – just like Angel Sammy used to do. I’m not as “enamored” of the choo choo train under the tree as Angel Sammy was (!) but I don’t run out of the room when Dad turns it on either! HAHA Yes you do have the same trees so you know exactly what this is like – it’s just so pretty to see from the air (Mom says).

There are so many kinds of trees around here – including the evergreens so they kind of “highlight” the colors even more of the ones that dump their leaves after they’ve turned rainbow colors. I just think Virginia is so darn pretty.

Thanks for co-hosting fill-ins because I know a whole lot of people love doing it! Santa Paws is definitely watching so I’m TRYING (!) to be a good boy. Right now my Dad is upset with me because I found a rug that’s in the library that I absolutely LOVE to use as a scratch post. OOPS.

We have had 2-3 feet a couple of winters but mostly we have about a foot at most…….we’re hoping for the latter this year (ahhahahahahahaha)………..I will walk on the sidewalk if there’s just a little bit of snow!!

Such a beautiful view from the plane! I don’t mind being at home. We sit outside on our balcony to get sunshine and fresh air. Also, we can take walks around our community. This year has just flown by and I can’t believe it is almost Christmas.
