It’s TUESDAY – Tell All Day!   Clowie’s “spooky” security crew says GO on class so let’s do it!

 

That was a great Teaser wasn’t it? A little spooky in a way which fit with the Halloween theme we’ve had – the black/white/shadows were not just very artistic but a little bit spooky. I’ll give you the SCOOP on that photo in just a bit.

First let’s talk about who were our TWO FIRST COMMENTERS shall we?    They both are experienced “FIRSTIES” here at Ding Dong School.

I was one of TWO First Commenters on the Teaser post of October 20, 2020. YAY FOR US BOTH!!!

THEN we waited for someone to figure out the Teaser photo………………….and it was a bit of a toughie so we waited a little bit before BINGO – in came the right guess!    Here’s the photo from yesterday:

Interesting Teaser this week in school
Timmy, Sharon and Csilla kept things cool!

  2. Hey, you spoiled kitty (aren’t we all?) I couldn’t find the comment box yesterday to say what I wanted to say about the Teaser. That was an amazing photo and yes, looked black and white, and there was NO WAY ON EARTH we would know where that is. But it was a lovely Teaser.

  7. Whew! That was a challenging Teaser. Congratulations to the Speediest and Csilla! And a thank you to Miss Ingrid’s friend that took that awesome photo and shared it. I see a Grouper sandwich for lunch and I will return to get it. Breakfast first. Good Morning!

  10. I still cannot believe that I did it!!! It was rather a bold guess. I googled after some slight variations “black and white photography clouds boathouses reflections” and found among many others, this pic: https://stock.adobe.com/images/black-and-white-photo-of-boat-houses-on-pier-with-reflection/367836596?prev_url=detail and it said that “port rowan photos”. I had no idea where that “port rowan” might be but I thought it’s similar enough to check it and googled “Port Rowan boathouses”. The feeling that it might be the correct place remained – thus, I let it a go. I think the key was changing “black and white photo” to “black and white photography” – it was clear that the pic was taken by a very talented and skilled photograph!!!

  13. We really have to thank brofur Rumpy Bump who is Dads and our alarm clock. He wants his breakfast and he wants it NOW. Then there is the whole “want to run into the cat yard and check it out” thing he does too. That fellow has energy in the am. We have to send big cat congrats to our Friend Miss Ingrid for the cool Teaser and our pals at Friends Furever and Miss Csilla for being so fast and smart. Professors we have to get our photo in for the Costume Contest and promise we will be on time. See you all next week so please keep safe everyone

    • Teddy is like that with breakfast too………..he gets his weight maintenance food once a day – in the morning and he knows WHO gives it to him so I’m the lucky one who gets the wake up call. It was a toughie Teaser from Miss Ingrid but Csilla zeroed in on her guess courtesy of some great googling!!!!!

  16. Whoot! Concats to the two fast fingered commenters and to Miss Csilla for actually guessing. I thought that might be a doozie of impossibility!
    Maybe someday I will find another whopper to be a guest with…but I for sure do not have any more Halloweenish ones, MOL!

    Meanwhile, I am not that hungry this morning…so please may I just have one of those Spooky Hot Chocolate’s?? I know *that* will fill me right up! And its guilt free around here, isn’t it??!

    • Our blog isn’t anything BUT grins and chuckles – with the exception perhaps of Mondays when we post a “SPARK” for the week. The rest of the time it’s all about cats and silliness and hopefully bringing some fun and smiles to anyone who needs it. Today is photo poetry day. A photo that inspires all of us to write a poem about what we SEE or what we FEEL in the photo. Anyway, I’m glad you got a grin !!

    • Csilla has definitely got the search technique down using Google…..puts all info she can SEE in the photo in the search box and WHAMMO – there was another photo by this photographer and she just followed the lead! Amazing………….
