Mom helped me find a FLASHBACK Selfie this Sunday because she’s been so busy this week with all kinds of things that she didn’t have a chance to take a NEW photo of me. So let’s see what we can come up with Mom – something from this same day in the years since I’ve been here!!!
Well this little gem was from September 30, 2017 – a few short months after I arrived at my FOREVER HOME. I had beaten the poor red cube Angel Sammy left for me to SCRAPS and passed out from exhaustion more than likely. That white blob is what is left of the white mouse Angel Sammy left for me – but I had torn into bits and Mom used an old cut up handkerchief of Dad’s to “repair” it as best she could. YES we saved the rag mouse with a box of Angel Sammy things……and believe it or not, we even have the raggedy old red cube (Mom has it in her closet).
We have used this photo as a Selfie before too – because I found it in our files! Here’s the jazzed up version:

Teddy, your mom and dad love you to the moon and back. Your red cube and your white mouse being saved is like my mom did with Robin’s dishes, her blankie and several of her mice she loved that are tattered and her brush. And Admiral left me some thongs too. I rarely get to use them, but I enjoy when I do. Mom keeps her mice put up except one, but I use her brushie.

That poor mouse. Sammy had it for all those years and it was so well preserved – the within two days I had it falling apart and Mom putting “bandages” on it!

180 pieces made it a HUGE puzzle back then. Go ahead and change it to something reasonable………..like four pieces (hahahahahaha).

You were one of our friends who did that puzzle back then!! You should just change the # of pieces to something more reasonable – back then I didn’t realize now unreasonable I was! HAHAHA

32m10s tonight so I did beat my previous time. I think it was 36 something but should have made a note before I started. I am glad you don’t make them with 180 pieces now! I was pleased to beat it though because I have a lot of trouble with my wrist and am over all slower at doing them usually.

I think on the puzzle it shows what your previous time was but a half hour is PRETTY DARN GREAT!!!!!!!!

It does show your previous time when you start, but if you beat it, it puts the faster time there.

Mom just HAD to save that tent – it had been Sammy’s then mine – and “well loved” like the white mouse. Mom has the makings of a shadow box for the little things of Sammy’s but hasn’t been able to make it – it’s too hard to do because the tears come. The tent is in shreds but it’s special. You have to hang on physically to some memories – others you keep tucked away in your head.
