Friendly Fill-Ins on Friday!

Hello and Happy Friday!    Time to fill in the blanks as supplied in sentences from our co-hosts, Four-Legged Furballs and 15andmeowing.   If you click the badge above it will take you to 15andmeowing and you can link up with us if you’d like to.

Mom and I did them together this week.    My words are ORANGE and hers are BLUE.

1. If you are looking for a cat who isn’t spoiled, try some other house – not this one!!!  I’m large and in charge here!!

2. FAITH fills me with hope.

3. It’s only a matter of time before our lives will return to normal – problem is I think it will be a LONG time.

4. The great outdoors is my favorite conversation topic.

There you have it – for better or for worse – our FILLING IN for this week is done.    We’re sitting here sort of waiting for the beginning of the remnants of Storm Sally get up this far in Virginia – we know Southern Virginia is already getting heavy rain and we will get some lighter rain here in Northern Virginia.    This is going to be a very bad storm season with I think five or six others “brewing” in the oceans.   If we could just direct all this rain out West to where the fires are – it would be a WIN WIN…………..sadly we can’t do that – yet – maybe one day?
Hope everyone has a great Friday………………….!!!

  1. If you are looking for a willing tummy to be rubbed, you have come to the right kitty!
Places that find homes for homeless kitties fills me with hope.
It’s only a matter of time before we find the effective vaccine for COVID
Which cable is the one I’m going to munch today meat, chicken, or fish is/are? my favorite topic.

    • Hi Loulou……Great filling in today – and I believe like you do that the vaccine will be so helpful in giving us some sense of normal life back……as for your choice of what to eat today – I say why not ALL THREE????????

  3. I agree that it will be a long time before things return to normal, and I fear that it will get worse before it gets better.
Why can’t people do what is asked of them! t is not going to improve until they do.

    • It’s really sad that we are our own worst enemy right now….you’re right – if only we could do as we’re told but there are still people out there who think precautions are NOT necessary. That’s why this will go on longer than it needs to. Sigh.

  4. We’ve been watching the trajectory of Sally. The storm wasn’t a big deal for us here in east Tennessee. I enjoyed reading your fill-ins. We are in agreement that our faith gives us hope. A normal post-COVID life is on the loom. 🙂 Have a blessed & funtastic weekend!

    • I guess Sally has “spun out” thankfully – we were a little worried about storm “Teddy” (who wants a bad storm named after them…not me!) but it’s heading to Nova Scotia. We must keep on doing the right things and we will beat this BAD BUG. Have a super weekend!!!

  5. LOVED both your answers! Your mom and I are similar about the great outdoors. My fave place to be. Um…I’m spoiled too and everyone knows it. XX

  6. Ho Hey! I like your shared Fill-Ins today. The great outdoors is one of my favorite conversation topics too. I think you are right about #3. I told SSNS this morning that I would love one of our old normal days with no worries about COVID. Hop in the car, go to the beach, have a grouper sandwich at Turtle’s and all without a mask that makes me hyperventilate. I know that we are very lucky as things go but one day like the old days would be wonderful 🙂

    • Yes we all feel like that here too – the “good old days” pre-Covid were truly GOOD…..and they will come again……but not soon sadly. The thing is though WE CAN DO THIS. It’s up to us to do it and we will. I think about the beginning when we were told the virus was “fake”……well we sure learned better didn’t we. Meanwhile you can get your grouper fix at school on Teaser days (hahahahaha).

      Hugs, Teddy and Mom too!

  8. Love your fill-ins and all cats should be spoiled. Mine always were.

  9. Good fill-in work, you two. Personally, T, I do not believe there is any such thing as a spoiled kitty (or pupper). We are just treated in the manner that we want to become accustomed. #iamthecaptainnow

  10. Evefurry body here is spoiled! Wes knows because Alex says wes is (and wes knows he is). Spoiled is GREAT! And the rest of the answers was pretty skoocum too! Mom liked #3 She has St Augustine over her desk: Faith is to believe what you do not see, the reward of this faith is to see what you believe.

  11. Teddy, you and Mom Pam both did an excellent job of filling in. Oh, it sure would be nice if we could send some rain to the west coast. You are spoiled, and that is just how it should be.
