Friendly Friday Fill-Ins Hop

FRIDAY!!!!    Time for fill-in fun with the HOP co-hosted by Four-Legged Furballs and 15andmeowing.     All you do is fill in the blanks given to us in four sentences!  Easy huh?   Well it’s also fun because we tell stuff about ourselves AND find out stuff from everyone who joins the Hop by what words they use to fill-in.    Wanna play?   Click the badge above and LINK UP.

Here are the four sentences for this week!     Mom and I BOTH filled in blanks this week – so if you see BLUE words, they are hers and if you see RED words they are MINE!!

1. I like ketchup on my french fries and sometimes my hot dogs (but not always!).
2. Snow reminds me of when I was a little girl and sledding and eating snow (!).
3. It pains me to no longer have the energy I had ten years ago – but slowing down isn’t all that bad either!
4. I can’t go outside without Mom or Dad or BOTH .
So – DONE!    Mom and I are a good team.    If I got Dad to do some filling in it would take HOURS as he would have to think about every answer for 10 or 15 minutes each.   Mom and I just GO FOR IT.    Can you tell?    HAHA

  2. I like ketchup on fresh boiled shrimp!
    It pains me to think we can’t hug friends for a long time.
    Snow reminds me that we never have ANY!
    I can’t say can’t…I’d rather say I WILL!

    • COUNTDOWN……………..3-2-1- blast off…………..so excited for you…………anxious to hear “DONE”!! I love the ocean AND snow. When I lived in Florida I was at the beach every minute I wasn’t at work. Now, even though I haven’t been to the ocean in many years, I think my favorite time to be there would be EARLY mornings when the sun comes up OR late in the day when the sun is going down. During the day in the heat – well – back in my 20s I loved it but now I just feel the heat so much more!!!!!!! YUCK!!!!!!!!

  5. 1. I like ketchup on my french fries too, and occasionally, on an egg sandwich.
    2. The smell of paste wax reminds me of visits to my grandmother’s home. Beautifully polished floors.
    3. It pains me not to have the flexability I had as a youngster.
    4. I can’t see the sun shining and not go out taking a walkie, enjoying the day’s fragrances.

    Great fill-ins Teddy and Mom. They could have been my mom’s.

    • Oh yes ketchup on eggs. My husband introduced me to that – he always put ketchup on his fried eggs or scrambled and I tried it once – I liked it a lot but then I don’t often eat eggs. Glad you did filling in today with all of us – I just love doing that every week. Ellen and Lorianne come up with some GREAT sentences with “holes” every week – I could NEVER do that!

  8. Mom was surprised to find that Mom Pam also likes ketchup on hot dogs. Mom hates slowing down. Not too many years ago, she could work in the yard for six hours and then still take a 20-mile bike ride. Sometimes our Mom has to think forever about a fill-in. That’s usually when she assigns it to one of us. Sending lots of love to all.     • My Mom loves ketchup – she used to put it on everything! She still puts it on meatloaf too which my Dad thinks is almost sacrilegious!! She often puts it on top of the meatloaf just before it goes in the oven but even then after it’s out of the oven and she’s slicing it to eat she dumps ketchup on it AGAIN! My goodness!

  16. I only like ktchup on boiled potatoes.
    It pains me to not be able to cruise or go on our short breaks. The cruising is out for good, but I hope one day we will be able to go back to our breaks around the UK.

  17. Our Dad is the same way, Teddy – every answer requires way too much thinking:) Mom likes ketchup on her potato chips and that’s it!!!

  23. Hi Teddy! We love your answers! We actually don’t have ketchup at our house. Mom does not like it and Alex is allergic. Cinnamon does like Ketchup potato chips though. They were Dad’s favorite chips!

    • HI YOU ALL!!!!! Thanks for visiting us – we think about you often. Well I can understand why you wouldn’t have ketchup – but my Mom says she has never seen ketchup potato chips and now MUST TRY THEM. HAHAHAHA Tomorrow is grocery day so she’ll see if they have them. We’re happy to see from your blog that you’re all doing well – keep up the good work!
