SPARK on Monday

Standard

Time for us to share a SPARK.  What exactly IS this Monday SPARK thing we do?   Well, most of you know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.   Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind.    Why not join us by sharing something that SPARKS you?   It might just start a spark in us too.

A lot of people are taking this break in the “old reality” lately to think about their lives and themselves, etc.     It’s a good time for reflection actually – the world is in flux it seems.   I found a thought that resonates within me – hope it “gets to you” too!

It isn’t that what came before doesn’t matter – after all – it made us who and what we are today………….but we CAN make something different with the rest of our time here.    Just make your mind up, and DO IT.    Easier said than done?   Not really….you just have to believe you can!

Happy Monday…………….please continue to stay safe……………and healthy………………..and POSITIVE……………………

Hugs, Pam

  1. I like that thought – there’s nothing we can do about what’s past.

See you for the teaser tomorrow! Am I correct in thinking we’re due an easy one?

  2. A most excellent thought! I truly am fixed on the “now” presently and it seems to help with my anxiety… interesting. Too tired to think about the past except to talk about some fun memories and working on stuff for the near future.

    • Now is a good place to be…….in the moment like they say. Living in the past is – well – OVER – memories are wonderful though and some of our best evenings (me and my old guy) are spent talking about the past and our trips, etc. BUT we are also looking forward and wondering what the future will bring……..and HOPING it’s all good!!

  3. That is a great spark. We are all on pause and it has been a time to reflect on our lives and realize what is most important. Have a nice day! XO

    • Exactly – and really – while memories are important and our past is where we are “from” – the future is something we can look FORWARD to and we NEED that now more than ever!

  4. I am late or maybe early for the Teaser! I didn’t do any commenting yesterday as we had our neighbours up for socially distanced drinks and nibbles in the garden. A couple of hours ended up as six! It was nice to have someone different to talk to.
    You always choose good Sparks.
We can’t change the past but we must do the best we can with the present, and look forward to a good future.
In had my phone consultation and will email later.

  5. For a simple statement, this is very profound. We spend too much time pondering what if rather than moving forward with purpose. Thanks for another great Spark and reminder on
