SPARK and Reminder

Standard

Monday means SPARK day!    Just a way of starting the week off with a thought that just might get you through the week.  What exactly IS this Monday SPARK thing we do?   Well, most of you know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.   Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind.    Why not join us by sharing something that SPARKS you?   It might just start a spark in us too.

The longer the virus issues are with us the more time we have to think about our friends and family and US too.     That’s why I have this SPARK to share today.

A lot of us aren’t able to get together with our friends and family right now  AT ALL or at least as much as we are used to doing.    Doesn’t mean they are any further away in your heart though!  Send an “old-fashioned” card or letter – now there’s a novel idea!  OR an email or do FACETIME or some other computer-visiting thing.   Stay in touch – one day soon we’ll all REALLY be TOGETHER AGAIN.

Hugs, Pam

Whatever you do, don’t forget tomorrow is Teaser Tuesday – the Professors would be UPSET if I didn’t remind you – brush up on your geography and GOOD LUCK guessing where the photo was taken.    Who knows – you just might win a badge to show off!!   GOOD LUCK.

    • Yes – that’s exactly right! Especially being an “only” – I wasn’t an only but I was very shy so I might as well have been. LOL Anyway, YOU are for sure part of our family!!!

      Love, Pam and Teddy too

  2. That is so true. My friends are much more family than my blood relations. My only living blood family is my brother and I never hear from him. He never asks how I am and I have given up on being the one who always phones and asks after him and his family.

    • Well dear Jackie you know there are a LOT of people out here in the blogosphere who love you and care deeply about you and WE can be your supportive family – we’ve been here all along and will stay here. It’s sad when we lose touch with family but it happens sometimes – we fill the space with people who DO care and feel the warmth of their friendship and concern which makes us happy again……..

    • In the tough times it’s TRUE friends or family who are always going to be there for each other…………I can say that with great pride because my true friends HAVE been just that. Encouraging, helpful, concerned and very caring. Family comes in ALL forms and my family is full of friends as well as siblings. Thanks right back atcha!

  4. We have such a huge circle of ‘family’ here too…its our extended family and you all are our best friends, too. Life would be super unhappy without you all…not to mention boring.

And I had best get o my bed so to be early for the teaser…um…not likely!
But late is fashionable, right?? MOL!
