SPARK and Reminder

Standard

Monday is here again………………..and it’s time to SHARE A SPARK.  What exactly IS this Monday SPARK thing we do?   Well, most of you know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.   Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind.    Why not join us by sharing something that SPARKS you?   It might just start a spark in us too.

In these rather uncertain and crazy times with people stockpiling food and supplies thinking things are out of control – it’s important to remember to hang on to as much positivity as you can find around you.    It’s there if you look for it.   Neighbors helping neighbors or even strangers is one thing I’ve seen personally and it reminds me there is a lot of GOOD in our world.   It’s just a little worrisome for us right now……………..this SPARK was the one that I felt expressed how I personally feel.    I hope and pray that all of you stay healthy and that we all get through this together.

Maybe it seems a little too simple to be true but I do have faith………….things WILL get better.    I’m sure of it.

Hugs, Pam

    • I guess we will all just continue to hope that the storm will clear and we will not have this HUGE BLACK CLOUD hanging over our heads any longer………..until the next time…………. 😦

  1. That is the perfect Spark for these worrying times. It is thought that the government is going to announce by the weekend that all over 70s, and those with long term health problems self isolate for our own protection. They are thinking of up to 4 months. Can you imagine how many stir crazy people there will be!
We are lucky that at least we can stroll around our fields without coming into contact with others.

    • Yes and you could never get tired of those beautiful fields and views……we haven’t heard anything about four month self-isolation – at least yet – but we are being encouraged (we oldies) to avoid crowds and above all remember to wash hands constantly. Those of us with active health issues (or memories of them!) are used to hand-washing all the time but isolation can be tricky since you MUST get food supplies from time to time. Oh well – we will get through this – we have in the past and will in the future.

  2. That was a nice Spark, things will get better. The Dad’s Grandma used to say “everyone told me to cheer up, things could be worse. I cheered up and sure enough, things got worse”. She was a funny one.

  3. It is crazier here that I imagined would actually happen…but you are right…just take time to think of the good things and to know that one of these days, (Or weeks or longer…sigh…) it will be just an unpleasant memory.
At least we do not have to worry about getting sick from the internet…if we sanitize it first, MOL!
(Though we might get sick OF it…MOL!)

  4. Right now, it is a bit hard to have faith when we have a ditzy president handing out bad information left and right. We feel.very fortunate to have no cases in our area, and we pray it stays that way. Love you all, so stay safe. • My Mom and Dad live rather “isolationist” lives anyway – other than visiting our neighbors at a distance (for now!) – and yes the information has been mixed up and spotty and wrong and upsetting but we are going to hang in there and do what’s recommended to the best of our ability. Mom and Dad both say, having ME around is the best thing EVER – I keep them happy, and distracted, and we ALL hope that this is OVER AND DONE soon. Stay safe and healthy!

    • Howdy! We are staying safe and as healthy as we old folks can be (haha) – seriously though the only problem we have right now is that every time I go to the grocery store for NORMAL SHOPPING, there’s no TP! LOL

      Hugs and stay safe………..
