SPARKS and Reminder

Standard

Happy Monday!   Time for us to post a SPARK for the week!  What exactly IS this Monday SPARK thing we do?   Well, most of you know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.   Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind.    Why not join us by sharing something that SPARKS you?   It might just start a spark in us too.

Sometimes it’s tough to keep hope in your heart about something………..I’ve blogged about this as well as “SPARKED” about this (!) before but in tough times – and we all have those once in a while – it never hurts to remind ourselves about the value of HOPE.    Here’s the quote I found that touched me the most:

Well, I happen to believe in magic just like I believe in HOPE.    The words here describe just what I do when I am hoping for something – hold it like a light within you.    Focusing on it – making it shine bright and STRONG.    Miracles do happen and that is a lot like magic!

Happy, Hopeful Monday!

Love, Pam

  1. Hope is a very good thing. Sometimes we don’t always get what we hope for but get something else that works in a different magical way. I think we have special gifts of magic every day. Even if it is as simple as your bacon wrapped chicken in the crock-pot… it was divine! We have some for leftovers!

    • I’m with you on the special gifts of magic every day – it’s looking for them that we need to do – sometimes they just come to us but other times we have to search them out but they ARE there! 😉 So happy you enjoyed your crockpot chicken as much as WE did!

  2. We know what you are hoping and praying for right now, and our mom is doing the same. Please let us know if you hear from Joan today. Mom shared her favorite quote a couple weeks ago which is by Emily Dickinson and about hope. Love to all at your home from all at ours. • We will keep you posted! Thank you – xxoo – We loved the Emily Dickinson quote and there are so many wonderful ones about being hopeful. Sometimes it’s tough to STAY hopeful but Mom knows that when you ARE hopeful – wonderful things can happen.
