Sunday! Well, how did this day sneak up on me so quickly? Mom says time is just passing by faster. I’m not so sure. BUT however it got here – it’s here and we’re pawticipating in our “usual” Sunday activity which is being part of the SUNDAY SELFIES BLOG HOP hosted by Kitties Blue. Would you like to join us? I have a selfie of me doing my favorite thing – sleeping. Mom snapped it while I was guarding the fresh sheets she’d just put on the guest bed. I like to protect them from intruders you know – don’t we all do that for our Moms? She snapped this on December 27 before we got to the end of 2019…..then she jazzed it up with Lunapic’s “Landscape” effect although I can’t really see why they call it that – I just look like I’m staring at her with my lasers on while lying on clean sheets (not out on the land somewhere!).
I know what you’re thinking……………”doesn’t he EVER run around and do stuff other than sleep?” – well, yes I do but Mom and her camera are usually right across from the guest room in her office and I like to keep an eye on her from the guest room. Well, anyway, she made a puzzle out of this of course for anyone who would like to do a puzzle on a Sunday morning!

Mom just said as she helped me finish this post that she expected to turn around from her desk and see me in this very position across the hall from her……………maybe that’s where I am? Wherever I am I’m going to have a good Sunday and I hope you have one too!

Mom says she has no idea how she could get along with anything BUT her widescreen monitor! LOL So glad you’re all set with new computer……..yep – that’s me alright – my “signature sleeping position” !!!! HAHA

An excellent combination of colours there, Teddy, and a great recumbent pose, too! Of course you do other things, but humans are generally too slow or unwilling, in my experience at least, to capture them, especially when they are at night outdoors in the cold, MOL

You’re right – if Mom really wanted to capture photos of me other than when I’m sleeping or snoozing she’d carry her camera with her on a chain around her neck so she’d always be able to catch me doing all those exciting things cats do…..you know……walk, run, sit……HAHAHA

MOL Teddy…you do your best work at night when the peeps are sleeping right?
When I was working one of my co-workers was 10000% sure his cat did not move all day.
So being a techie he set up some type of camera in several rooms. All aimed at a spot that was a favorite. He was about 1/2 correct first half of the day his cat stayed in one spot…then through the remainder of the day the cat moved about….but only to change sleeping areas.

My Mom and Dad seem to think that all night I’m UP looking out windows and exploring the house – HA! Not me………I go downstairs to the basement (where I can’t hear snoring) and hang out with my cat tree, my favorite old chair, and the old garden bench that is in front of a window so I can SPY. Oh I see all kinds of things out there. Mom doesn’t “get” that’s why I sleep all day! I’m up all NIGHT! A guy needs to rest SOMETIME right?

There’s nothing wrong with just laying around all day (I’m jealous). I’ve got a big boy myself who seems to always be doing that… and most of the photos I’ve taken of Ody are him just lounging around… often on his back like yourself!

Ody and I know that back naps are the most relaxing. Mom says it shows that we TRUST our humans too – we are very “open” when we’re on our backs!! I hope the kitties are staying away from the “black hole” in your kitchen…………!! EEEEEEEEK!

Hi Marv! So nice to hear from you – I’m so VERY happy that all of you are together now and getting along so well. Mom says she is happy about that too. I have always slept on my back more than my front….we’re not sure why that is but Mom has a theory……my back gets tired from hauling around my 22 lbs. all day and sleeping on my back gives it a break???!!! Makes sense to me. Mom loves that I sleep that way (secret: that’s why I do it just so Mom smiles a lot!!!!). Happy New Year to you dear friend……….

Hiya Teddy! I’m with you on this Sunday thing that time am going by too fast. Sundays do seem to sneak up on us furkids… best thing to do I think is take a nap… looks like you had the right idea napping on the bed, although it looks like your Mom needed you to help with the bed covers?
– Miss Chiquita who had a spat with Miss Peach over the sunny spot and lost.
We have some sad news about our Dad… some of younger kitties didn’t get to meet him… our oldest kitties remember him. either way he loved us and helped Katie Mom look after us for many years…
