Friendly Friday Fill-Ins

Standard

FRIDAY!!!!   The very FIRST Friday of the new year and decade………………and here we are with our co-hosted HOP to spill our guts (hahaha) and fill in the blanks in some sentences – two sentences from each of our co-hosts 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs.   If you’d like to join in the fun – just click the badge above and when you get to 15andmeowing – fill out the LINKY FORM.   EASY PEASY!

For this first Fill-In of the new year I thought I’d do two sentences and let Mom do two.    Mom’s words are in BLUE and mine are in RED.

1. My plans for the weekend include baking some cranberry biscotti AND making a pumpkin pie – why?  I just feel like it!.
2. You will never find a lack of reading material in my home.   (we have a small home library full of books and visit the used book store OFTEN!)
3. I hope I always will be allowed to go outside with Mom and/or Dad – I love fresh air and to sniff the woods and leaves .
4. I hope I never EVER have to wear that sweater Mom got me for Christmas!

Yeah – about #4 – Mom got me a sweater believe it or not and hasn’t tried to wrestle me into it yet.  I’m hoping she’ll forget about it.   Imagine me – stuffed into a sweater.   Well if I have anything to say about it, it’s not gonna happen.    Sorry Mom.
Well, if you’ll excuse me I’ll get this post wrapped up – it’s nap time – my Dad is already in the basement on his napping couch which means he started the afternoon nap before I joined him in my napping chair.

“WAIT FOR ME DAD!!!!!!”     Hugs, Teddy

  1. Great answers once again. Now, Teddy, you should be brave if your Mom wants you to wear that sweater. Your fans would love to see that, and I can just imagine how dapper you’d look!

  2. I loved the books your mom and dad have. My mom has too and she also hits the used book store. She spends time reading that she should be on her feets BUT she does get some time in walking. Mom loves books she can turn pages..enjoy the fragrance of paper…she’s silly. Me..I live lying on them.

    • My Mom and Dad both want a book to HOLD and turn the pages with their hands and not a computer. It may be handy but it’s just not for them. YES they are old fashioned! Mom reads when she goes to bed at night and Dad reads during the day so he can take a nap. HAHAHA

  3. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That biscotti sounds so good and the pie too. Now Teddy, when one receives a gift they are supposed to at least pretend they like it. Please model the sweater for your devoted fans. Have a wonderful weekend! XO

    • I have high hops that the thing won’t fit me and Mom gives up. I’m a big boy and the sweater is stretchy but will it be “THAT” stretchy? It remains to be seen! You look fabulous in all your outfits Summer but you’re a petite little girl and I’m a CHONK!

  4. When it gets cold enough outside, maybe the sweater will start looking better to you, T. I admit that although I am quite the fashion plate now, I have eaten a coat or two in my younger days. Good luck, buddy.

    • Say……..Cupcake……….I hadn’t thought of the snacking possibilities with that sweater. It’s on the kitchen desk and I could EASILY “get to it” at night when the humans are asleep. So it tastes good??????

  5. Teddy, we are so intrigued and want to see you in that sweater. If it gets really cold, you may want to try it so you can go outside. Mom owes Dad a pumpkin pie. Maybe she’ll do that for him tomorrow. Thumbs up on the books from both our humans. Good job to both you on filling in. • I realize that I’m going to have to ENDURE that sweater even if it’s just long enough for a photo. I am resigned to my fate but I won’t make it easy for Mom that’s for sure…..I am 23 lbs. of SQUIRM!!!

  6. What fantastic fill-ins from you and your mom, Teddy! There’s a lot of baking and books at our house, too. Of course, all baking and reading is closely snoopervised by kitties. Teddy, we’re sorry you don’t like your Christmas sweater, but we bet you look downright adorable in it! Purrs!
