Happy Thanksgiving Plus One Day
I think most of us who celebrated Thanksgiving yesterday feel a bit like poor Garfield above……………..full……………..but what a wonderful time to spend with family and friends and food! My Mom and Dad weren’t home for “THE MEAL” but brought lots of leftovers home and I’m sure there will be plenty of those for DAYS. Since I’m not a “people food” eater I will just have to endure the sound of Mom and Dad “re-enjoying” Thanksgiving for at least a few days to come.
There are no Friday Fill-Ins today since it’s a long holiday weekend here in the States…………so I’m going to do my OWN version of the fill-ins. Ready?
- What’s your most favorite snack in the entire universe Teddy? DELECTIBLE SQUEEZE-UPS AND YOU ALREADY KNOW THAT BECAUSE THE PANTRY IS FULL OF THEM!
- Who do you love more – Mom or Dad? ARE YOU CRAZY? HOW COULD YOU EXPECT ME TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THEM? IT’S TRUE THAT MOM FEEDS ME, PLAYS WITH ME, CLEANS MY LITTERBOX, WASHES MY BLANKIES, FILLS THE SINK WITH FRESH WATER EVERY MORNING, TAKES ME FOR WALKS OUTSIDE – BUT, DAD……..well…….uh………ummmm……..DAD LOVES ME TOO!!!!!
- Are you excited that Christmas is coming soon? What will Santa be bringing you this year? WELL OF COURSE I’M EXCITED – MOSTLY BECAUSE I KNOW THAT MOM AND DAD GOT A BRAND NEW CHOO CHOO TRAIN FOR UNDER THE TREE FOR THIS YEAR AND THAT’S MY MOST FAVORITE-EST THING EVER! SANTA WILL BRING ME SOME NEW TOYS I’M SURE AND MAYBE A CRATE OR TWO OF SQUEEZE-UPS. AFTER ALL, I’VE BEEN VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY GOOD.
See? I can handle fill-ins all by myself……………! Now if you’ll excuse me, it’s time for my third nap of the morning. A guy can’t get too much rest – right?

I have tried to find the perfect napping position and obviously have found about ten different ones that ARE perfect – I practice ALL of them so I am truly a NAP EXPERT Katie!

Mom and Dad are home from deserting me for Turkey Day and YES they brought leftovers and NO they decided not to have them tonight – they want a “rest” from all that Thanksgiving food – I think I heard them say they were having grilled cheese. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I can’t wait to show everyone our new choo choo!

Oh were we stuffed after the A.B. buffet. I did not EAT ANYTHING for the remainder of the day.

So glad the parents are home safe and sound with leftovers. It’s the dressing I love the most but I suppose squeez ups are good too. Happy napping 😴 I’m not napping but finding good shows to keep me reclining in front of the TV 📺
