Friendly Friday Fill-Ins

Standard

WOO HOO!  Here we are again on a Friday – sharing stuff about ourselves with the world.    Thanks to our two co-hosts at Four-Legged Furballs and 15andMeowing, we have FOUR sentences every week that have blanks for us to fill however we want to thereby telling everyone little details about US.   What a fun and cool way to get to know each other!    Wanna play?   Just click the badge above and link up with us.    I thought Mom and I could SHARE this week so the blanks she filled in are in RED and my blanks that I filled in are in GREEN!

1. Hearing the doorbell makes me nervous.
2. I should get rid of my old clothes, but I can’t because I don’t want to admit that I no longer FIT in most of them!!!.
3. My ideal home would include a housekeeper and cook – in reality it actually does include those already – it’s ME – but I’d love to see what it would be like to have someone ELSE do those things for us!.
4. You would not find any other cats in my ideal home.   (I admit it – I like being an “only” – I get ALLLLLLLLLLLLL the attention around here – no sharing!)

There you have it.    True confessions by me and my Mom for another week.    Thanks to our co-hosts for coming up with some swell sentences.    It’s always fun to see what they give us in the way of challenges!
Now I think I’ll go pester Mom to take me outside – it’s chilly and super windy with lots of leaves blowing around – I think I’ll chase a few !!!!!
More fall leaves for Sam to play in!

We have this many leaves down but our trees aren’t this pretty – this is a photo from LAST year – our Fall this year is UGLY and BROWN not colorful!  POOEY!

Hugs, Teddy the Leaf Chaser!

    • I agree…………..sitting in the middle of a big pile of them is fun too. I always like to sit still and listen for “things” in the leaves like bugs, or maybe if I’m lucky a chipmunk!

  1. I love the answers to the fill-ins. They could almost always be the same as mom’s and mine. Our leaves are still mostly green! Some are turning brown…jut the barest whispering. NO color at all and used to be, half the leaves were down in the end of October and beautiful before that. This year due to excessive heat and no rain before a week ago, they are largely like summer still.
    XO Teddy. Lubs yoo.

    • Lubs you too Katie! Yeah – our leaves on the maples are TRYING to be colorful……they are BEGRUDGINGLY turning a little orange here and there but this is nothing compared to past years. Granted I’ve only had a couple of “past years” here but Mom and Dad say this is the ugliest in 23 years since they’ve been here. sigh…..not a dingy dangy thing we can do about it though!

  2. I am with you 110% on being an “only,” T. I’m a little “extra” when it comes to attention. Your mom made us laugh saying her home already has a cook and housekeeper! GAH! I didn’t see that coming…

  3. Hearing the doorbell makes me nervous, Teddy! Especially if I’m still running around in my flannel boxers! That kinda stinks that you have a brown Fall. We had quite a few of them in MissouREE. At least you can crunch around in the leaves looking for lizards!

    • I wonder if Mom would get me some flannel boxers – then I wouldn’t have to run around nekkid all the time!! Yeah no pretty leaves in sight – a few orange ones but no bright yellows, reds, etc. I guess we better hope an ugly Fall doesn’t signal a HORRIBLE winter!

  4. Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I even get nervous when the doorbell rings Teddy. Mostly because I am always in my pj’s when home unless I am expecting company. I know you like having your folks all to yourself- my cats are jealous. And Pam, I understand about keeping clothes. I keep telling myself to get rid of them and reward myself with new ones if I lose weight, but I like the old ones 🙂 And a housekeeper would be nice. Have a nice weekend! XO

  6. We could have written numbers one through three. Mom would be happy if Chris could just come every week. And now that it is cooler, she’ll be trying on lots of what she expects will be too small clothes. Whether or not she gets rid of them is another story. • My Mom says she has closet overload and HAS to weed through her stuff. Plus she ordered some new things that have arrived – gives her more incentive to get rid of the old stuff that doesn’t (and never will again) fit!

  7. What purrfect fill-ins! Teddy, the doorbell is a menace at our house, too. It always sends kitties running, and we just don’t like that. And wouldn’t it be wonderful to know what it’s like to have a housekeeper, even just for a day? What a lovely thought. Purrs!
