SPARKS on Monday And Reminder!

Happy Monday!  What exactly IS this Monday SPARK thing we do?   Well, most of you know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.   Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind.    Why not join us by sharing something that SPARKS you?   It might just start a spark in us too.

So what’s the deal on this SPARK?    It’s our way of saying – EVERYONE should take a bit of a break.    Everyone includes US here at One Spoiled Cat.    Mom, Dad, and I are taking a few days off and we’ll be BAAAAACK to our usual silliness this coming Thursday, the 10th but no blog for Tuesday or Wednesday.    That means NO TUESDAY TEASER.     Can you STAND to be away from our craziness for a couple of days?    I can tell you that I’ll be at the fabulous Kitty Spa called Paws A While and my Mom and Dad will be in their “HAPPY PLACE” they visit every year.   Just a quick break…………..we all need that from time to time.

We will miss you though…………………..really!    See you on Thursday for Thankful and Poetic Thursday.

Teddy (and Mom Pam too!)

  1. I check your blog every day and appreciate. Am reading this at 3:30 AM and it registered on me that I need to do this seriously for myself. I am a full time care giver for a friend who has no family and, needless to say, it is easy to see only the stress and negativity. But, I’ve been thinking I need to do a Spark at least on Mondays. So here it is off the top of my head–Mack, my 100 pound shepherd is a gift as he sticks with me. Also with no training for it, he always makes sure I know it if C has fallen or needs me. One day when I came home from shopping, he met me at the door and took me straight to her room because she had fallen. He is a gift, my best friend and a pain-in-the-neck all at once.

    • That’s a nice SPARK…..being a care-giver is a most important but “draining” job. It’s kind of you to do that for your friend and how wonderful that you have Mack to help you! Sounds like he keeps a close eye on your friend too!

      Hugs, Pam and Teddy too

    • Hi Kosmo! It’s a kennel for cats and dogs but the cats are in the living quarters of the lovely Catholic Nuns who run the place! They know me – and they love me – so I’m sure I will be SPOILED ROTTEN by them as I was last year and year before when my Mom and Dad deserted me. Sending hugs to you from poor pitiful Teddy as he waves goodbye to his wayward parents…..sniff.

      Hugs, Teddy

      • Oh Teddy, don’t cry, the nuns take care of you and your parents come soon back. The nuns may let you use their computer and we can chat a little. My parents are now the whole day in woods, but they left the computer for me.
Hugs, and wipe your eyes and smile,

  2. I love that Spark! Makes me feel not so bad when I kick back and do nothing, which is often! Have a great time, enjoy the FOOD, the fresh air, the scenery and just relax. I’m a little jealous about the food ya know even if there are no Grouper sandwiches… HAHAHA!

    • Lobstah is on my daily menu for sure….starting with dinner tonight! Supposed to be rainy there when we arrive but it’s that way here today too. In the 60s though. Looking forward to a little break FOR SURE. Sending hugs down Floridaaaaaaadoooooooodeeeeeeeee way! 🙂

Love, Pam and Teddy the Left Behind

  3. Teddy, we will miss you and your mom and dad, but mom and I are delighted they are getting off to rest and have some fun and enjoyment. Mom just had hers and she had a blast! Take care at the spa Teddy, and love to the three of you.

  4. I LOVE the Halloween header and this spark. My happy place is the same as theirs because I get to
spend time with them. 🙂 I hope you have a nice visit to the spa. XO

  5. I’m sure hope you were treated like a king at the spa, Teddy! Mom took a sort of break herself after her and Dad got home from their trip overseas last week. She slept a lot and lounged around watching the moving screen. Tee hee hee. Hugs.

I wanna know what YOU've got to say!!
