I googled “tall needle monuments USA” and it gave me photos of the Needles in the UK! I removed Needles and added on a promontory. Have you any idea how many monuments there are??? The nearest photo that looks like it gives the Cashman family history.

It tells of the construction of the Pilgrim Monument started on June 18th 1908 and completed on August 5th 1910 at Provincetown at the tip end of Cape Cod. It would have been so much easier if I could have copy and pasted the details!
It doesn’t look exactly the same but near enough to be my guess.

Uh Oh-there’s trouble ahead. This picture was taken from a hot air balloon and the balloon is being sucked into the neighborhood of the needle and will be punctured and ruined. Who would do such a rotten thing? Squirrels.

Well, we are awfully late today, but um…we have a good excuse! We were outside dogabrating Dalton, its his birthday today:)

Perry’s Monument at Put-in-Bay Ohio ? The tower matches but there are way too many structures close by. Stumped again !

The monument was a big clue I think……..good guess though – this is in Provincetown, Massachusetts and there ARE a lot of structures around – lots of shops, restaurants, B&Bs!
