Happy Friday! Time to fill in the sentences that our co-hosts at Four-Legged Furballs and 15andmeowing give us EVERY week. If you’d like to play along too click the badge above and link up!
Here are the sentences we got for today and this week Mom and I switched off on the “filling in”…………when I’ve put MY words in they are in BLUE and when Mom did hers, they are in RED.
1. If I had my life to live over, I would enjoy it again – ups and downs – it all makes us WHO we are and I wouldn’t change that.
2. Blogging sparks my creativity.
3. Seeing night critters like bears and foxes keeps me up at night.
4. I only just recently learned we have chipmunks again – Mom says for about four years she never saw ONE and now we see lots – I like to watch them – NOT chase them!
I also am back to wearing my harness when I go outside so Mom, Dad and all of you who were concerned I might run off without the harness don’t have to worry. Harness/leash are OK again. Whatever kept me from wanting to wear the harness has faded away in my memory!!
So now Mom and I are going to hop around and see what YOUR Fill-ins say. HAPPY FRIDAY………………………….
Glad your leash and harness are acceptable to you once again.
We saw a chippie here today..they run up the drainpipes when they see the dogs, MOL!

Chippies are pretty smart little critters…..they can find little hidey spots that WE can’t begin to get into!

I hope that chipmunks will not start to sing like the ones in that cartoon … then we would chase them LOL

My chipmunks just chatter at me when I get too close….maybe that’s singing????

I’m glad you’ve decided it’s okay to wear your harness again! Bipeds just can’t keep up unless we have them attached to us! 😀

Clowie you’re right – and they might just wander off if not attached via harness….they are easily distracted aren’t they!

Mom really worried about that even when both she and Dad were snoopervising me when I was harness-less. I’d be nuts to run away though – I’ve got it made here!

Thank you both for these great fill-in answers. I agree that what we go through in life makes us who we are so I would not want to change anything either. You are very creative and your blog shows it. And Teddy, chippies are fun to watch. I am glad you like your harness again. Have a nice weekend! XO

It’s been so nice outside – – – I just lie in my spots in the leaves and enjoy the breeze. Mom and Dad enjoy it too – much better than sitting out there in 100+ temps!

Chipmunks? Kaci and Kali bark at them and the chippers don’t care.

Our Chips are pretty brave too – there’s a piece of PVC pipe Dad stuck under our deck that they like to hide in and tease me. I hear them with their little “churp” in the pipe DARING me to squeeze in and get them. Well THAT will never happen of course and they know it.

Mom used to say she’d change things but then she thinks MAYBE she wouldn’t be the person she is today if she did……..and she kinda likes who she is!

Yep – we’re pretty sure I have…..we’ve seen him in the daylight and some mornings I look a bit “shell shocked” when Mom first sees me so we think MAYBE we have night visitors!

Please forgive my tardiness, and thank you both for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Blogging and visiting our friends in the blogging world really is a wonderful way to feel creative. One purrfect example of this is your weekly poetry challenge! It always makes me feel so creative. Teddy, Eddy agrees that wildlife truly can keep you up at night. She doesn’t visit the outdoors like you, but she watches out the window all night long. Purrs!

Watching out the window is safer of course than being OUT THERE but I do both….and I know I’m lucky that my Mom and Dad are willing to let me be out there. I don’t really do much more than sniff scents left behind by other animals, lie in the leaves, watch the birds and squirrels from under a bush where they can’t see me but I can see them…………..Thanks for enjoying Sammy’s poetry fun – we love reading everyone’s work!
