Monday SPARK and A Reminder

Standard

I’m back to SPARKING on Monday instead of having a Teaser preparation class.   What’s SPARKS???   You all know that Annie of McGuffy’s Reader – who started SPARKS – was hacked and has been on an extended break from blogging although her idea to spread some inspiration on Monday of every week goes on.   Many of us who participated in her SPARKS Blog Hop and found value in sharing a thought on Monday continue doing that to hopefully give each other a “Monday boost” – perhaps something to think about to inspire us in the week ahead OR help us deal with something that’s on our mind.

I think it’s always good to start your week out with an uplifting or inspiring thought…..then I “use” it as my weekly theme and keep it at the top of my mind all week long.    If you know me, you know that I talk a LOT about being positive and what that can do to your life if you can LIVE within a circle of positivity.   Not always easy I know but I really do try VERY hard to stay positive.   Here are a couple of things:    one is just a SAYING and the other a “visual” of letting go of negative and watching positivity take over.

I love the graphic with the barbed wire transforming into a dove………..and I truly DO believe that if you can’t live in POSITIVITY if you have a negative mindset.    The key is recognizing that and acknowledging it……then you can change it!

Happy Monday………..

Hugs, Pam

Teaser Class – remember tomorrow is TEASER TUESDAY and the post will be at a surprise time!

BE READY to guess where the photo was taken.

  1. You are possibly the most positive person I know!!! I do love that graphic, too, and the quote is a good one to keep in mind. Happy Monday – wishing you a wonderful week!

  2. I love the analogy there at the fence. I will probably have that as a picture in my mind always after having seen it. XX

    • I know I will……….they were in separate spots when I was looking for a SPARK but it absolutely was the perfect graphic for the SPARK I thought….I will remember it too………I saved the image to my “screensavers” !

  3. Amen Teddy.
For years I was queen of ‘what ifs’. Then I learned that worrying changes nothing and realized the best way to approach ‘worries’ was if you aren’t the solution to the worry…you need to let it go

    • Isn’t it? You know when you look for things to post for your spark there are zillions to choose from but when I pulled images up that one LEAPED out at me – maybe I needed to see it just to remind me how I try to stay positive no matter what……….we all should try.

  4. Pam and Teddy, very positive post, positive thinking is something you have to exercise, in one book was a good advice “Remember to remember”.
    Hugs to you both!

    • You and your Mom are positively positive dear Cupcake……..and you ladies and my Mom are WAY better off for it as are all of those who choose to walk in the light of positive instead of the dark of negative.

  5. That is so true. I work with someone who just discovered that he has an advanced form of lung and throat cancer even though he hasn’t smoked in many years. He has chosen to remain positive and try to enjoy life. He thinks that attitude will help him stay healthy and I agree. It may not cure him but it will certainly help add years to his life and life to his years.

    • Yes you’re right…..sorry to hear about the man you work with but his attitude will get him through the hard times ahead. I think positivity does add years to our lives – living in the negative lane with anger and feeling sorry for ourselves doesn’t do anyone including those around us any good. Positivity is light – negativity is dark and who wants to be in the dark all the time?!

  6. That really is a terrific Spark as is the graphic. Mom has been having a really hard time staying positive the last few months, as you know. She needs to do better. Thanks for reminding her. Hope she remembers tomorrow is Tuesday when she wakes up in the morning. Love to all. • Your Mom has had a LOT to deal with – between the construction project and little Sawyer, she’s lucky to remember what planet she’s on much less what day of the week it is! If you all are here for Teaser that’s fine but if Mom is sleeping in a bit – let her! We’re glad you liked the SPARK my Mom did yesterday – as you know this is just the way she thinks – positively even when everything around her is negative. She says it keeps her sane but I have my doubts (hahahahaha).
