Sunday Selfie Hop

Standard

Sunday is here yet again – it just keeps on showing up after Saturday so we keep doing a Selfie with Kitties Blue on the day after – SUNDAY!   Want to join in the Selfie fun?   Link up by clicking on The Cat On My Head’s badge above.   Then you can see everybody AND be part of the fun with your OWN Selfie too.

The very first thing I am doing before I show my SELFIE is to let you all know that Kitties Blue’s youngest guy, Sawyer, has had a rough time these past several days – two seizures and a trip to the vet.   We worry about him all the time and I know you do too – I did this badge for him a while back after a bad seizure – maybe if we post it again it will bring the little guy some GOOD LUCK.   He does need it and his parents need some more energy to deal with helping him.    Please keep all of them in your prayers.

I thought I’d do a FLASHBACK Selfie of ME this week.   Mom did take a “new” photo of me that we COULD use, but FLASHBACKS are fun.    I like seeing ME in the past – we all know what I look like in the present after all right?!

This is the “artsy” Selfie that Mom we posted on July 9, 2017 – I’d been here for five months and was feeling pretty feisty about then.    I was realizing that I wasn’t going ANYWHERE – I was HOME SWEET HOME!

Here’s the “wee-me” photo that you can click to do the PUZZLE!!!

Happy Sunday and please don’t forget to send some POTP to Sawyer…..and his family.

Love, Teddy

P.S.  A reminder for Teaser Fans…..Monday there won’t be a PRE-TEASER class – just remember to show up Tuesday morning ready to study a photo and guess where it was taken!   Mom and I are going to go back to posting a “SPARK” on Mondays.

  2. Yes, heres to Sawyer getting better very soon.
Love the selfie this week, we can feel the fun and games come through with the vivid colours. The jigsaw is top notch, too, and we did it in just over the fifteen this week — thats minutes not hours, MOL

  3. I am sending good thoughts for Sawyer.
That is a cute artsy photo, and thanks for the puzzle.
I will try to remember to be on time on Tuesday. I was offline most of the time for the past week as we had friends staying with us.

    • Poor little Sawyer……..you know what’s really super sad? For him, having seizures is “normal”…..he’s always had them. If only he could just have fun like a little 2 year old should. Haven’t heard an update this morning yet – hoping he had a quiet night.

  4. Poor Sawyer. How nice of you to make him a badge. He is always in my prayers. I wish there was a miracle drug to stop the seizures. I love the art your mom made of you. And thank you for the puzzle- I look forward to it every week. XO

    • I think he does feel the love AND all the energy that’s being sent his way. I think his parents could use some energy too – keeping an eye on him, taking him to the vet, making sure he’s not into something dangerous for him – it’s a HUGE job. 🙂

    • We’re going to have a HIGH of 78 here today – it comes at the price of more rain but at least it won’t be SO DANGED HOT! I’m sure Sawyer is feeling the love from around the world from all of us – thanks for yours.

  5. We all too well understand the distress of a pet with seizures. All paws crossed for Sawyer.

Flashback selfies are always fun to see, Teddy – we do like this one a lot.

    • We know that you all had to go through so much due to those evil seizures too. Stress in every direction and it’s very “wearing” isn’t it. Love gives us strength to get through the worst of time, just as it gives us joy in the best of times.

      Hugs, Teddy

  6. Thank you for the continued love and support you show our little brofur. Mom and Dad and all of us wish we could do more to prevent these terrible episodes. We know they are wearing him down. Teddy, you look very small in that two-year-old photo. The art turned out great. Thanks for always being a hopper. We love you and your mom and dad oodles and oodles. • You know I was thinking this morning – if we could have only one wish – just one and only one and no others – we would wish for a miracle for Sawyer. Seriously. That little boy has been through so much in his short life and has survived. In a way HE already is a miracle. We just want one more……… Sending all of you hugs, strength, and as our Spark today says – HOPE.

      Love, Teddy and Mom

    • Sadly the seizure disorder – as I’m sure you all know at the vet hospital – is one that can only be managed….and his family and their vets are doing their best to keep him safe and as happy as he can be.
