Happy Sunday!   You know what Sunday means – selfies!    Our hosts at The Cat On My Head would love for you to join in the selfie fun and it’s easy – just click their badge above and link up!

I’m going back to my FLASHBACK SELFIE pattern since Mom hasn’t dragged out the camera lately to snap me in any embarrassing photos.   That’s OK with me.   I have lots of photos I don’t mind pulling up from the past because it reminds me of how far I’ve come in the two plus years I’ve lived here!

This little gem was from just about this same day in 2017 – remember I was adopted in February of that year so this was just four months after I learned that I was a lucky guy.   I had also beat up this poor little “tent” that Angel Sammy had left behind for me.    Mom has retired it to her closet because she can’t bear to throw it away…….yet.      She put it next to the brand NEW tent she’d bought for me and I had a two bedroom suite.     I guess I was so exhausted this day that I barely made it inside the “front door” of my red tent before I passed out.    Poor me.

Of course we couldn’t stop there………..Mom had to make a puzzle of this silly looking photo……………………so if you’re so inclined, just click the photo below and have a try!

  1. That’s a cute photo of you so exhausted from playing that you couldn’t make it all the way back into your tent. I seem to be getting slower on puzzles instead of faster, and this one took me 17:30.

  2. Aww, clearly testing out your new home was far more tiring than you thought. I can see that you devoted a lot of time to practicing the tummy floof shot style of selfie, too 😉 MOL

    • It sure was……….I was pretty rough with it I’m afraid – I was a very rambunctious guy when I first came here but I’ve settled down almost totally other than the occasional attack of zoomies on the stairs OR out in the yard!

  3. An adorable picture, sweet Teddy! I can understand why your Mom can’t bear to dispose of that tent. My Mom is like that, too…yeah, she is. They’re just softies!

  4. You know, mom said she loves seeing us enjoy things that the ones who came before loved and enjoyed. And Teddy, I actually remember when your mommy shared this picture with us the first time. IT is one of the most charming. Has mommy put the tent up, or did you use it to the last threads? XXXXXX

    • That red tent of Sammy’s is definitely in shreds….it won’t even stand up any longer. But Mom saved it – just because. I have a NEW tent upstairs and another one which I like better in my apartment in the basement. I do like tents – I don’t sleep in them any longer but I like to play in them. Most of my toys are Angel Sammy’s hand-me-downs. We keep him here with us always. 🙂

    • YEs they sure can and I’m jealous. When I was younger I could do that – be comfy anywhere – these days I need “my” pillow, “my” blankie, and “my” bed !!!

  6. Teddy, this is one of our all time favorite photos of you. Thanks for sharing it on the top.mom went to pick up and move our tunnel a couple of days ago, but she couldn’t lift it. She discovered Astrid sleeping inside. When a kitty needs a nap, any place is a great place. 7. Teddy, I totally think we need to get together, ’cause I inherited one of those same kind of cubes and another Mom bought me. You and I could link all our cubes up together and make a system of covers to explore! We could go spurrlunking! What ya say?
