Sunday Selfie Hop

Happy Sunday!    Time for our favorite Hop – the Selfies!    Want to join in?   Just click the badge above and go to our host’s blog at The Cat On My Head and link up so we can see you.

I’m going to continue with what I’ve been doing for ages now – looking back in the photo files and finding a Selfie from either 2017 or 2018 of ME on he approximate same date.   Why not a current photo?   Well, I do have some but I find it fun to look back at “the me that was”.

Here’s what I found for this Sunday:

This was me in May, 2017 – which means it was only three months after I was adopted from the shelter!   I was already practicing my belly shots although I was still growing and my tummy is significantly – well – more substantial now than it was here.

Now as you all know today is Cinco De Mayo, and we’re having a party at Cat Scouts – I thought you might enjoy seeing me in my Cinco outfit:

Yep – I’m ready!  I hope all of you have fun celebrating the 5th of May.   A party, a cookout, a picnic, or just sitting on your front porch in the sunshine.

    • Hi ERin…..yes I wondered about the mayo part too until my Mom explained it to me. Although I did like the one little taste of mayo my Mom gave me a long time ago! I think I might have perfected showing off my tummy don’t you?

    • I bet there could be a tummy contest – actually I’m in CATSTER’S photo contest this year (voting in a day or so I think) in the CAT NAP category and the photo I entered is one of me with my tummy on parade!!!

  15. Happy Cinco De Mayo, Teddy! Tomorrow is a Bank Holiday for us.
    You looked very streamlined back then, but now there is more of you to love. I was rather slow on the puzzle, 21m 22s so I may go back later and have another go.

  20. Hope you had fun at Cat Scouts for Cinco de Mayo… we drank a margatita and made a burrito and called it a celebration. That spotted tummy of yours looks very soft and a bit smaller than it is now. Such a sweet ginger face!

    • Sounds like you both had a great Cinco! Teddy wasn’t at Scouts long yesterday for the party because it was going to be interfering with our dinner with CHILI last night but while he was there he had a good time! Yep his tummy is still spotted but it’s about twice the size as when he was just one year old…..he seems to have “topped up” his weight though so this is where he is at his best (apparently). TWENTY-TWO and holding!
