Friendly Fill-Ins

Standard

Hello Hoppers – Happy Friday!    Time for us to fill in some blanks……………….provided by our co-hostesses, Ellen and Lorianne.   If you’d like to have fun with us, click the badge above and link up.   Share!

Here are today’s sentences………..two from each blog above.    I decided after thinking about the sentences this week that my Mom would be better suited to answering than I would.   SO, the fill-ins are hers and they are in RED!

1. I could live on a canal or houseboat.
2. I rarely get sick, but when I do, I get rather grumpy but just push through it and keep on going.
3. I would most like to be known for being a good sounding board and helping people get through their problems.
4. If you want love, you have to be lovable (!) and return the favor.

My Mom said #1 was easy to answer because she has loved the whole idea of living on the water since she and my Dad travel a lot – have seen canal boats and houseboats and think it would be fun to have one.    Maybe not necessarily as a full-time residence but a second residence perhaps.    Anyway, I think that would be fun too………..I’d have to wear a life jacket but they make them for pets!    Wheeee!

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go ask my Dad if he’ll take me outside on my harness/leash.    We have a very pretty day – in the 50s with lots of sun – and I feel the need to stretch my little legs – not to mention getting some fresh air!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Spring is coming!!   YAY!    Hugs, Teddy

  1. LOVE that pic of you, Teddy! You certainly do enjoy your outdoor time, don’t you?
And tell your mom that my mom thinks she’s a great “sounding board” and to thank her for always “listening” and being encouraging!

  2. Mommy says living on a houseboat might be fun, She sees some on the Pascagoula River when they go to Eldest boys house, although she says they are trying to get rid of them.

  3. Thank you to your mom for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. She is an excellent sounding board and fantastic friend. You could be like Bailey the boat cat if you lived on a houseboat. 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend. XO

  4. Even if Mary and I enjoyed our canal boat holiday in England years ago ever so much – one of our best holidays ever – I doubt if we could really live on a hosueboat.
Spring is in the air here, too. Blogpost is in the making.
    Have a wonderful weekend, y’alls,

  5. Paws up for outside time, Teddy! I have to say, my human is something of a land lubber – she likes homes on solid ground (or in our country of earthquakes, semi-solid).

    • Oh I can totally understand how your human feels….you all have to be on the alert for “wiggly ground” out there and being on the water would be extra wiggly….and wavy…..but it would be peaceful too unlike an earthquake!!!

      Hugs, Teddy 🙂

  6. That is a cute photo of you, Teddy. You look like you are ready to chase something.
We often see the houseboats on different canals and I have often thought that it must be a lovely leisurely life. Just moor up where you want to, call into the pub for a drink and some friendly chat, ideal.

    • We’ve seen cats and dogs in life vests and they look quite comfy in them – I also think they LOVE being on the water like that………..As for therapy – water therapy is super duper effective for animals AND peeps too!!

  7. We have a pretty day too, still a bit windy, but Mom took us all for some walks. We bet it would be fun to live on a houseboat, but be sure to get your lifejacket!!!

  8. Your mom did great on the fill-ins, Teddy. It’s been our peeps dream to live on the water…and now that we do…they’re living the dream…and so are we. ~Ernie and Zoey

  9. Mom Pam did great on the fill-ins, and she definitely is exactly what she describes in #3 and #4. If she and your dad ever get to live on a houseboat, our mom says to sign her up for a nice long visit. Our mom also rarely gets sick. It’s because she never goes anywhere to pick up other people’s germs. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

    • HA! That’s why my Mom doesn’t get sick either – she’s not around a lot of people and when she HAS been, she always washes her hands really well, etc. It’s the first thing she does when she gets home from ANYWHERE! My Mom says she’d definitely want your Mom to visit her if she lived on a houseboat. It would be so much fun……Mom wanted to do a canal boat journey in England but she and Dad never got around to it.
