This is the SELFIE I posted a year ago:
Actually it was posted on January 28th last year but it’s pretty darn close to a year ago right? Just one day off? Well at this time I was still drinking from the stream of water from the faucet whereas THESE days, I prefer the sink to be filled up with water and I just treat it as my own personal pond! I don’t jump up there on my own EVER though – I go find one of my parents and ask them to follow me upstairs to the sink and put me up there themselves. I’m not sure what I weighed a year ago but I can tell just looking at “me” that it was a lot less than I weigh now.
Hey – I’m a growing boy! I’ll be three in March………..and next month I’ll celebrate my second GOTCHA on February 12th.
While I was working on this blog post Mom came into the room and I asked her if we could take a little “WATER BREAK” so she took me to the upstairs bathroom sink and gave me a drink. She grabbed her camera and took a couple of shots of me at the watering trough (!) so here’s an update of me at the sink TODAY:
Yeah I might be a little larger than a year ago…….just a little…….
Anyway, here’s the photo of ME after Mom Lunapic-ed it ! She used the “FLOATING” art effect. Good choice right? HAHAHA

Mom thinks its’ pretty funny but then I also think she just might wish when it comes to fountain service that I weighed about HALF what I weigh now since she has to put me up there! LOL

Hi Clowie! Mom calls her sink “Teddy Pond” now. Dad’s sink which is just beyond Mom’s on the bathroom counter somehow isn’t as perfect a location as Mom’s sink. Of course it might be because I know it’s HER sink and she’s the official “pond filler” !!!!!

Whats not to like about every ounce of that lovely ginger guy we see there, and and now. We both definitely prefer your light arty picture, even the tooth brush looks summery and light, almost candy like, too.

Oooh – you have your own personal pond???!! How wonderful! I just have a water bowl, but that suits me. My step sis-fur, Gypsy, who lives at my pawrents’ shop, has to soak her paws in her water bowl. She makes quite a mess, so Mom tells me.

Purrrhaps Gypsy is just washing her paws to keep them nice and clean??????? Mom bought a great big glass bowl for me thinking it would make a good “sink” down on the ground but so far it’s not working…..I’m sticking with my guns – I want the bathroom sink PERIOD!

A whole year? WOW…..that seems impossible…..The main thing though is that you two are HAPPY there. Yep I really do love my sinks. As for Mom’s complaints about lifting me up and down from the counter maybe she should get my Dad to make me a staircase up to the counter????? Dad’s pretty handy around the house – woodwork might be a little DIFFERENT for him to take on but I’m SURE he could do it!

Good grief! Five feet is a whole lot of snow – we’ve NEVER had that much here my Mom says. A few years ago before I was even born they had almost 3 feet but it didn’t hang around long. I’m glad you and LadyMew are warm and snug inside!

I did the puzzle first today and it took me 32m 54s. I will probably come back tonight and see if I can improve on that time. For some reason though, every time I do a puzzle for the 2nd time, I nearly always seem to be slower!

HAHAHA…..my Mom says the same thing about puzzles – second time is ALWYAS longer! I guess some things don’t improve with age….tee hee….I am lucky to have my very own pond – Mom and I both wonder if that will last forever or if I will eventually decide it’s ok to have water from a bowl!

Well, Teddy, we like the flashback selfie a lot – very vivid colors, but we absolutely love the water sipping one. Mom is crazy about all those pastel colors.

Woo! Hoo! What a great shot of you – both last year and this year!I don’t drink out of the sink, I DO like to play with the water though. Ninja used to drink out of the sink…until he came here, he MUCH prefers the pet water fountain we have in the bedroom (Mom out fresh water in it every day). We are going to have to do that puzzle!

HAHAHAHA…..so funny that Ted has “asked” for that since we adopted him. Not sure WHAT his first 11 months were like before he arrived at the shelter but he obviously was getting water from the tap or a pond or SOMETHING like that. He just loves a sink full!

It’s the only way I’ll drink water – which my Mom isn’t too crazy about because it’s not exactly CONVENIENT! She bought a big huge glass bowl which is almost sink-sized and we’re experimenting with it down in the basement where my food bowl is. It’s a little weird filling it and Mom hasn’t seen me use it – yet – but she’s hopeful!
