Friendly Fill-Ins

Standard

Friday is here!    Today we all fill in sentences in this FUN hop co-hosted by 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs.   If you’d like to join in the fun, just click the badge above and fill in Four-Legged Furball’s “LINKY FORM” – and you’re in!!

I think today Mom and I will take turns filling in.   I’ll answer the “cat-friendly” ones and she can handle the “better leave it to the human” ones!    We’ll be a partnership!

Here are the four sentences we got from our co-hosts for this week.    My fill-ins are BLUE and Mom’s are RED:

1. I really need to lose 20 lbs. but the chances of that happening during the holidays are SLIMMER than I will ever be!.
2. My favorite Christmas ( or Hanukkah) decoration is one that I can see my reflection in – Mom puts those on the bottom of the tree and I don’t touch them but I like looking IN them and seeing ME!!

3. It’s beginning to look a lot like we might not have a white Christmas this year but that’s OK – I’m not too crazy about cold toes in the snow anyway!
4. This time of year, I eat my fair share of sweet stuff like desserts – which may have some effect on my fill-in for #1 !!!!

There you have it – another successful Friday Fill-In session with me and my Mom.    You know it sure won’t be long before Christmas is here.    Can you believe it?   I’ve been so very good that I can’t imagine that my stocking won’t be filled to the tippity top after Santa visits us.   I’m going to try to sleep under the tree on Christmas Eve so I can SEE him this year.   Last year I’m afraid I slept through the whole thing.   YES I’m a sound sleeper!

HAPPY FRIDAY!

Hugs, Teddy

  1. Yeah, no diet here but I could stand to lose 10 pounds. I am going to try not to gain. I will try to walk but we have a lot of rainy days ahead supposedly. I can understand the no toes in the snow, Teddy… I like my toes in the sand! Good Morning! Not a peep out of Iris!

    • Mom complains every year about this time and says she WILL lose some weight. Granted I’ve not been here very long but I can already see that while she may have INTENTIONS she lacks a lot in her follow-through. Tee Hee Anyway, I say there’s just more of her to love (which is what she says about 21-lb. ME!). No Iris? Maybe she’s doing some visiting of friends for the holidays??????

    • Good for you filling in the blanks!!! My Mom is glad that somehow I don’t drag in sticks/dirt/mud, etc. when I go out for a walkabout. She still inspects me before I’m allowed in the house though!

  2. Teddy, we bet you’ll sleep right through it again this year. Santa has a deal with the Sandman to keep us sound asleep. That’s okay, as you can dream about all the great stuff he’ll bring you. Much love and hugs to all. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

    • We’re not entirely sure why I’m not playing with the ornaments more……I did notice last night that I can see myself in the glass ornaments – I just stood there and stared at it forever. Mom is wondering how long it will be before I TOUCH it now! HAHAHA

  3. The holidays are a very difficult time to try to eat sensibly – too much good stuff around all the time. Mom made peanut butter balls today and she had to resist nibbling:)

  4. Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Your mom doesn’t need to lose 5 pounds, let alone 20. I bet those ornaments are beautiful with YOU in them Teddy. Have a nice weekend! XO

  5. Petcretary says with her its the work that makes her fail to stick with the program…which if she stayed at home she would not gain and gain…
And , as you well, know this time of year is so tempting and tantalizing…MOL!

And all the snow we have had…the ground has been white several times…is green, and if the temps stay where they are, in the 40’s, we might even see the grass starting to grow! MOL! But well, we all know that in climate zone 6, the snow WILL come…mostly when we want to travel or whatever…sigh…I truly do not mind a green Christmas. You know, Green IS a Christmas color:)

    • You’re right! Green and red both work for me too…….we have our green lawn back now in fact because that little snow we had last weekend is gone – washed away by the HUGE amount of rain we’ve had the past two days. Mom was stuck at home so she ATE. AND ATE……. LOL

  6. Teddy, you and your mom both did a wonderful job with the fill-ins! You sound like Thimble, Teddy, because she also loves her reflection. I don’t blame either of you, though, because kitties have the best reflections. And, this here human tends to go a little too wild with the desserts this time of year. But, ’tis the season!
