Here are this week’s sentences from our co-hosts. I let my Mom do them this week and her words are in BLUE.
1. I love buying gifts for my husband – I always get the things I know he NEEDS but then include surprises too.
2. I have a hard time finding a gift for Teddy because he isn’t much of a toy boy – he doesn’t play with toys much; he doesn’t sleep in a cat bed either……and only likes ONE kind of food PERIOD (boring isn’t it!).
3. It’s the most wonderful time to walk around with a smile on your face – all those Christmas shoppers have frowns from lugging stuff all over the Mall but when they see your smile they smile back and HOPEFULLY keep it!
4. There’s no place like HOME SWEET HOME for the holidays.
Thanks Mom – good job. I know I’m tough to get gifts for – I’m sorry about that because I know you’d have tons of fun giving me all sorts of fun things but you know me. I play with a toy for about 60 seconds then walk away and NEVER look at it again. There are (right now) only TWO toys I pay any attention to. A yellow snake and a plastic fish. Boring huh???!!! I promise to try and be better about that especially since Angel Sammy left me a lot of GREAT toys.

wow Teddy, you are like the mama… she will not sleep in a dog or cat bed, she eats only veggie stuff and there is just one thing what makes her happy … chews… uuh we mean shoes LOL

Your Mama is the shoe and boot queen for sure – funny our humans don’t appreciate a good chewing stick or tugging toy – they sure are hard to figure out sometimes aren’t they guys??????

HI Clowie! Yes – that’s how I feel – I don’t need a special bed – I have plenty of snoozer possibilities around here. Mom keeps trying to tempt me to use the “official cat bed” she got me when I moved in but I’m not falling for it!

My Mom says she wishes I’d like tents like Angel Sammy did….and nip toys interest me for about two minutes than that’s that……let’s face it – I’m more like a dog than a cat!!!!

Hi Miss Layla! Yes it’s funny but I won’t eat ANY canned wet food – I love my “Weight Management” dry stuff PERIOD. That’s it. I do have an abundance of belly floof though – and that belly does NOT “wiggle” or “wobble” either – I’m solid as a rock – it’s all muscle. (tee hee)

There are lot of toys out there, I’m sure your mom could find a third that you enjoy as well. It just might take some time. But I believe in her…she can do it!

We will be HOME (the best place to be!!!!)……….no shopping (except groceries on Sunday)!!!! Teddy is spoiled but that’s the way we have always treated our cats – they are, after all, our only children!!

Gosh, I sleep in my cat beddie in the winter (only) but I spread my ample self around to every bed in the house, the sofa, the rocker, MY recliner, my little cloth mats that were made for me. My blankies that were made for me. I’m like on a merry-go-round. And if you have ever read my bloggie, I bow Sammy and Teddy have, you will see I am the toy QUEEN! I have 5 special ones I bring to mom every night but I have several dozen others that I move from room to room.

Yes you are the Toy Queen……your “babies” are special to you and you bring them to show off to your Mom every night like any proud Mom would do…….the others that move around the house are favorites too but not AS FAVORITE as your five babies are. I love that about you!

3. It’s the most wonderful time to do exactly as Mom Pam said…walk around with that smile that’s real. People respond.

Me and Teddy are a lot alike… and I’ll bet he’d say “Don’t worry about getting me anything, Mom! Really!” Then you’d have to change the name of the blog to One Content Cat, though, and that might be a hassle…

Mom thinks that maybe my first year (wherever that was!) I didn’t get toys or obviously a water bowl since I still INSIST on drinking from the sink. Anyway, when I got here I had access to not only new “welcome” toys from Mom and Dad but Sammy’s considerable collection. None of them interested me. Weird huh??????

Not a toy nut. Well, somebody has to supervise the maniacs with toys. Everything is a toy to Tyebe but I know where you’re coming from. I have a few toys that tickle my fancy. However, I do like all treats.

I’m a treat guy myself too. Party Mix especially but Temptations are pretty danged good too!!!!! I think all kittens think EVERYTHING is a toy!

BellaDharma you certainly earned your right to whatever you want and need……..life “on the street” (or in the woods) without a home is very hard. It’s survival – we suspect I had that too my first 11 months – but then we find out if we’re lucky and get our forever that it doesn’t have to BE so hard. We are fortunate – there are still so many who aren’t.

Mee DID have a home butt mee was all ways putted outside. So mee wuud wander fore dayss an dayss eatin where mee cuud find food. Mee wuud come home an stay fore a while an then out mee wuud bee putted again. Mee not ree-memburr too many thingss; iss a BIG blur. Then 2 yeerss ago (LadyMew told mee this) mee was brott bye mee (so-called) owner to Sheltur an left there. No one wanted mee tho’ THE Sheltur ladies are furry nice. Then mee gotted ‘dopted butt mee not do well an back to Sheltur inn 2 weekss time. So mee lived there from June 2017 til June 2018 an gotted ‘dopted an mee lasted 2 monthss an then ree-terned end of this July. When LadyMew came to see mee Sept. 6th mee not even bother…..hee thott “Here wee go again…”
Now it has bin 3 monthss an 4 dayss here an mee iss STILL HERE!!! Iss a meerakell fore sure! Mee not know you too were out on THE meen streets too!?! Mee iss so happy you are with Miss Pam an yore PawPaw an safe an loved!

BellaDharma you really had a very hard time – I can’t imagine why anyone would adopt you then bring you back…..humans just don’t THINK what that means for us do they….anyway, my Mom only knows that I was 11 months old when I was taken to a shelter by SOMEONE. What happened to me in that 11 months is anyone’s guess but the “best guess” is I was either feral, or a barn cat, or homeless and living by my wits! OR maybe someone adopted me when I was tiny and brought me back. We just don’t know. All I know NOW is that I’m happy – just like you are. That’s what matters right? ❤

Teddy, your mom did a wonderful job with the fill-ins! And you sound a lot like Eddy, Teddy. Eddy is a difficult lady cat to shop for, because she won’t eat treats or canned food, she eats only one kind of dry food, toys are rarely fun to her, and there’s only one cat bed she’s ever even considered using. She much prefers climbing the Christmas than playing with any silly toys or sleeping in a bed. Purrs!
