Friendly Fill-Ins

Standard

Happy Friday and YAY for Friendly Fill Ins Blog Hop co-hosted by 15andMeowing and Four-Legged Furballs.    If you’d like to join us in filling in the blanks our co-hosts have given us this week, please do – just click the badge above and when you get there fill out the LINKY FORM and join in the fun.

Each of our co-hosts gives us two sentences with blanks…………………here are the four sentences we have THIS week and I have decided to give Mom a special treat and let HER fill them ALL in!!!!   Her fill-ins are in RED.

1. Homelessness is an awful thing – for humans AND animals alike.

2. I always read very few (front page, Metro) sections of the newspaper.
3. Black cats are so beautiful and sleek and shiny.
4. A fire in the fireplace is my favorite treat.   (But my favorite food treat is a mango or strawberry popsicle!)
There you have it – straight from the horse’s mouth – well not horse really but my Mom and she’s not a horse by ANY means.   Hope you all have a SUPER FRIDAY.   We have a cold and rainy day.   But that’s OK – I can handle that.   I’ll just say inside and SLEEP!
Good thing we don’t have sound to go with this photo or you’d hear some snores!

Hugs, Teddy

P.S.  TODAY IS LAST DAY TO SUBMIT YOUR PHOTOS FOR THE HALLOWEEN PET COSTUME CONTEST!! (photoshopped or real costumes if you’re brave enough to try that out on your pet)

  1. I wish all had a good home… specially in winter we often worry for those who live outside… we love that favorite treats and we just noticed that we ran out of ice cream…. a weekend without is no weekend right?

    • UHOH….you’d better make sure your Mama gets out to the store ASAP for ice cream – without ice cream, the weekend is just too boring for words! She could also pick up a few stuffed animals treats for you boys at the same time!

  2. Thank you both for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I wish I had a fireplace, even an electric one would be fine. You know we love black cats around here 🙂 The rain is heading our way for tomorrow. I hope you have a nice weekend! XO

  3. Mom says most of the newspapers these days isn’t worth reading, but she does like to do all the puzzles she finds on the comic pages.

We forgot about the Halloween pics – we are going to see if Mom can remember to send you ours tonight when she is at home.

  4. We had rain and cool temps all last week, but yesterday started the first of what is supposed to be 5 dry days. We were in the 80s Saturday. So, I guess last week was our Autumn/Fall. haha

I feel the same as you in regards to #1 and #3. Black cats are classic and beautiful. AND no one (people nor critters) should ever have to be homeless, unless they choose to be. I can’t imagine choosing it, but I hear some folks do. Everyone has a right to a safe home, clean air and water, and food. It is such a tragedy that not everyone, the world over, has those things.

    Have a blessed Sunday. 🙂

  5. We rarely have weather cold enough for a fire in a fireplace. I agree that no one, animal or human, should be homeless, Have a blessed week.

  6. Homelessness is so sad for everyone. It seems we could be doing so much more to help. Black cats are super cool. I hope you get to enjoy your fireplace.

    • My Mom was saying this week that it’s amazing to her that there are lotteries that collect millions of dollars but we can’t seem to scrape up the funds to help those without homes or food……kind of STRANGE isn’t it?!?! Black cats are gorgeous – shelters and rescues are full of them because people just don’t adopt them – very sad.

      • Yep Teddy, mommy can’t believe nopawdy told her anythin’. Oh they told her it was a pawsum ‘pawrtment with a fireplace, but nuffin’ ’bout how to use it. And she or any of the residents could’a burned the place to the ground. Fankfully, that didn’t happen and mommy’s never had a real fireplace again. Big hugs

        • You have to wonder if that apartment place ever had a REAL disaster after your Mom left – hope they had good insurance! Also hope everyone stayed safe. Sure was dangerous of them NOT to explain how to use the fireplace. YIKES!!!!!!! Electric fireplaces are nice too……and more safe!

  8. You are so sweet to let your mom fill in the fill-ins, Teddy! She sure did a wonderful job. Homelessness truly is such a devastating thing. It makes me feel so helpless to think of all those individuals out there without a home. On a brighter note, a crackling fire in a fireplace sounds so perfectly cozy right now!

    • WE seems to be having lots of fires in the fireplace this last week – it’s been quite chilly and I’m learning to enjoy the fire -from a distance of course! I let Mom fill in once in a while just to keep her on her toes – that’s impawtant to do with your humans!
