Filling In on Friday

Standard

Mama Mia!  Is it Friday already?   Where has the time gone????   Well, the fact remains Friday it is and we’re ready to HOP with our co-hosts 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!    This is a fun Hop – four sentences with blanks in them and we get to fill ’em in!    If you’d like to play along, click the badge above and join in.

Today I did the filling in ALL BY MYSELF!    My own words are in GREEN.

1. The last time I was outside was five minutes ago – I’m a frequent flyer of the yard!.
2. Being an only kitty isn’t bad at all – my humans are my favorite playmates and I get ALL the treats and don’t have to share!.
3. A rainy day is a blessing in disguise.  (for my Mom and Dad – not me – it’s a blessing to them because they don’t have to harness me up for walks outside……DARN!)
4. My favorite word is “OUT?”.   (when someone says that I come-a-runnin’ !)
There you have it………….Teddy-ized fill-ins!    Thanks to our co-hosts for sticking with this super fun Hop.   We love it and I know everyone else has as much fun as we do filling in.

Happy Friday!!

Hugs, Teddy

    • We don’t want your Dad cutting that big hedge – we seem to recall a previous dis-ASS-ter with the hedge!!!! As for rain – we think those new pansies of yours will appreciate the “not yellow” type of rain!!! 🙂

  1. Oh no, we think ‘out’ is a scary word. The outside and the harness are not our friends. We like rainy days though, because Mummy stays home with us and gets nice and cosy.
    Have a lovely weekend.

    • I think maybe some of us only hear “OUT” when they are going to be shoved in a car and taken to the vet. My Mom doesn’t use that word – she doesn’t use any word – she just grabs me, and off we go! AHHAHAHAHA I like being home too but walking with Mom and having her chatter away to me is fun……..

      • Most of the time when we hear ‘out’ it is because Mummy is going somewhere and leaving us behind for a while. She always tells us how long she will be though, so we know if the outside has claimed her and we need to fend for ourselves!

    • Especially in the Fall….the only thing that’s dangerous about the Fall is walking through the woods we have around us because those acorns HURT! I think the squirrels sit up there and throw them down on me and Mom!

    • Oh goodie! I’m glad you don’t mind that your Mom likes me – I know I don’t mind that my Mom thinks you’re a sweet and pretty kitty – I think all cat Moms love all cats. Don’t you?

  4. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers Teddy. Sorry it rains sometimes and you don’t get to go out. I think it is cute that you come running for the word out. I hope you have a nice weekend. XO

  5. Good job, T. You filled in like a boss! I agree with you about being an only-pet. It’s the best. It’s all about us – all day, every day. Just the way we like it…

  6. Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Teddy! We think it’s wonderful that your mom and dad go out on walks with you, Teddy. (You have them so well trained!) None of the kitties around here enjoy the outdoors (though I do wonder if kitten Tonks might like to be harness trained and go outdoors), but they sure do enjoy living vicariously through your adventures!

    • Well Mom and Dad were used to walking with Sammy so it was a natural to try me out – and I love it. We kinda think I was an outside cat before the shelter…..I LOVE being out there. I also love being inside the house too though! It’s safest inside so if your crew says IN – it’s better than roaming free – ONLY OUT ON HARNESS is my motto!

    • We might have a little rain this weekend but it’s in our forecast for every day next week. Dang. Oh well – if it brings beautiful leaves for our Fall then I’m up for it!!!!

  7. Unlike you, Teddy, I try not to go outside. We don’t let our kitties go outside, either. It is too dangerous out there. There are dogs that will eat you here in Texas. Stay safe. Have a blessed week.

    • My Mom and Dad would never let me go outside without them and without my harness/leash. We have foxes and all manner of critters here too and I’m never out for very long even though I’m snoopervised!

  8. Teddy, you did a terrific job with those fill-ins, but you cannot fool us. We know you still make your mom and dad take you out even when it is raining. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

    • Not everyone knows that I am a water baby. I think it’s just a little weird (so do my parents) that I like to get wet. This morning Mom filled up her sink and I put both front legs in it to drink water!

  9. You are a lot like us, Teddy. We just love being outside – and we finally have a good stretch of beautiful weather. We have been outside almost all morning so far. Happy Saturday – yes, we are a day late again.

    • We have RAIN RAIN RAIN today which is actually OK since Mom has a new holly tree and new rhododendron planted and she prefers Mom Nature to do the watering than standing out there with a HOSE all day! Enjoy your weekend!

  10. Ah Teddy, my brother Alberto and I also love the word “out”. Sadly I have grown out of the harness so the Female Human is looking for a new one so I can stroll in the front garden and enjoy the fall colors.
