Time For Teaser!!! Remember to COMMENT on your way to class!
Good Morning Students! Please take your seats and settle down…..
I hope you all commented because that’s very important – if you EVER want to win the FIRST COMMENTER badge, you must always remember to do that FIRST THING before you take your seat. Now that’s out of the way – let’s talk about the Teaser today. First of all it’s a GUEST TEASER…..and tomorrow we’ll let you know WHO our Guest was when we tell you WHERE the photo was taken. In the meantime, it’s your mission today to study the photo and try to figure out where our Guest took the photo and follow these rules while you’re doing it:
Very important to follow the rules so it’s FUN for everyone to play the guessing game. You have until midnight tonight to make your guess! There’s a reward at stake as you know – a fabulous and artistic BADGE that you can display on your blog or wherever you wish which will proclaim you as a winner, a fast commenter or even a terrible guesser – depending on the outcome tomorrow. These are the badges you can win if you’re LUCKY!
Before we show you today’s photo, I thought you might benefit from a little PUMP UP THE VOLUME kind of cheering on courtesy of our cheer team……………..are you ready??????
That’s right Team – time for our students to show us their SMARTS and for them to study the photo our Security Guard is about to bring in…..then GUESS………and of course we wish them all tons of luck right?
PAGING MR. SECURITY – PLEASE REPORT TO GEOGRAPHY CLASS WITH THE TEASER PHOTO!
Yes we think it might be tough too so study it and just do your best students! Perhaps a good lunch will give you some BRAIN FOOD for guessing? Miss Dingleberry is here with something to give you energy………………
Ohhhh la la Miss D – Professor Teddy and I would both like Two slices of LOADED Pizza please!
Students, GOOD LUCK………we’ll see you tomorrow for the TEASER TELL ALL…..
Professors Angel Sammy and Teddy too
Here!

I think I’ve been on the cliffs there. It most definitely is not Salamanca.
If I’m right it’s the Belle Tout Lighthouse. It’s on the Seven Sisters Cliffs, near Beachy Head, near to Eastbourne, East Sussex, England, Europe, the Earth.

No clue probably because I live in a landlocked state and are not very familiar with lighthouses, famous or otherwise. Bummer too, because they are fascinating structures and probably all have some intriguing history or legend surrounding them.

We’re luck here really as far as seeing lighthouses goes – north and south of us there are so many to see. My favorites are in Cape Cod but up north of there are some beauts too! I used to take photos of them and do oil paintings years ago.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what I believe they call The World’s Worst Prison. Apparently, the taxpayer budget was all blown building that overly huge guard tower, so there was nothing left in the coffers for more important security measures…. like maybe putting one of those big, swiveling spotlights in the tower. Or maybe even a nasty looking guard to sit up there and scan the perimeter. Because had there been a nasty looking guard up there with a big honking flashlight, he might have noticed that there are two prisoners on the loose…. because, you know, The World’s Worst Prison left the front gate wide open again. Oh wait, there is no front gate! Or barbed wire. Or vicious inmate sniffing dogs. This place is a disgrace to fine penal institutions across the world, and I hope its inclusion as a Teaser photo was meant to teach us how NOT to operate a prison…
LikeLiked by 1 person
They spent so much $$ on the guard tower there’s not even any cells for prisoners! I bet the guy who runs this place has a family of kids who always wanted to be prison guards so he built them a tower to play “guard” in. Some parents truly spoil their kids.

It’s probably the kids who should be in jail!

Hey, the lighthouse theme is all over the place!!
This kind of reminded petcretary of her time living on the east coast of Canada…but no, it doesn’t appear to be a lighthouse from there.
Nor any she’s evfur seen in North America at all. OK then…
On a hill, tourists, square-ish house, stone enclosure(fence)…hey!
I think I gave to agree with some of the others:
Belle Toute Lighthouse, Beachy Head Road, Eastbourne, England.
And I am late, but not quite as late as sometimes…and a heads up, I might not even be here next week…company coming and a road trip, too…but not to any light houses, let alone this one, MOL!!
See ya whenevfur!

No, it can’t be sisters. The lighthouse is in one piece so it must be something elsw. This is a lighthouse with a house built on. So it must be near the ocean but which ocean? I’m going to say the Atlantic because the scenery doesn’t look lush like California, Oregon or BC. I’m thinking everybody’s in the house enjoying Miss Dingleberry’s delectable food. So who’s watching for ships that may run aground? A puzzle to be sure.
