Let’s Hop!

Hello everybody.   It’s time for the weekly Selfie Hop hosted by our buddies and pals at The Cat On My Head.   It’s fun to strut your stuff on Sundays and share.   I hope you like the idea well enough to join us – easy to do too just click on the badge above and fill out the LINKY and you’re right there with the rest of us.

Mom again visited her favorite photo editing site, Lunapic to add this effect to me in my new nap cube.    The art effect is called “STORYTIME” and I kind of look like maybe Mom might have been reading me a story and I was concentrating with my eyes shut listening right?   Well, maybe all I was doing was NAPPING?    I’m not telling.   You can figure it out for yourself.

It was raining ALL DAY yesterday and supposed to do the same today and we are happy as can be.   My Dad even took me out for a walk and I came back in SOAKING WET and didn’t mind a bit!   Dad might not have liked getting soaked but I sure did.

Well, excuse me if I leave now – I have a lot of hopping to do to see my friends in their selfies today.    Maybe I’ll see you too?

    • My humans think it’s very weird too – I can get soaked in the rain outside and not mind it one bit. I don’t like it when Mom dries me off when I get inside again though!

    • HAPPY SUNDAY TO ALL OF YOU TOO!!!! It’s actually COOL outside here……not for long I’m sure but right now it is and Mom and I just came in from a walk in the yard and SHE wore a hoodie over her shirt!!

    • It’s a cute little cube and it was actually one end of a “cube system” WalMart had….between my cube and a larger two story “thing” was a lion/jungle tunnel. Cute but no way would I have fit in the tunnel.

  9. I was trying to figure out what the design was on that cube, and now I realize it’s drawn like one of those cut-outs at the carnival where you stick your head through and there’s a complete clown suit drawn around you. But I have to wonder if there’s a cat big enough to stick their head through that hole to go with the ears and whiskers drawn around it!

    OK, I took another look before hitting “post” and now I see it’s supposed to be a lion. Maybe that cube was intended for lions to sleep in?

    • “In the jungle, the quiet jungle, the lion sleeps tonight……a weemaway a weemaway…..etc. etc.” I already thought for funzies I’d do a photo edit with Teddy’s face EXTRA sized and put it in the center of the lion cube. Might be fun.

  12. That is a lovely selfie, and a great artsy effect. We desperately need rain too. We haven’t had any apart from a quick shower since mid May. I’ll be off to do the puzzle in a while.

  14. Your Cube is really cool! And I must say Mu Mom says that Lunapic Picture of you is the bomb! It would make a WONDERFUL painting!
    DARN! I did the puzzle (18:26) and I did not realize I was NOT logged in!

    • Gosh Marv – you did SUPER FAST on the puzzle today! I think you have the best time I’ve seen so far! We liked the way that Lunapic effect worked on me in my new cube too. My Mom thought it would make a nice painting too – but it would take her 50 years to get it right and she figures she probably won’t be alive that long. HAHAHA

  17. Teddy, we absolutely love this photo of you in your new cube, and Mom Pam did a great job “artifying” it. We like all the different textures. You have now hopped! Sending lots of love to all.     • Not sure about why we didn’t show up in the hop but we totally remember being there, totally remember filling out the form but knowing Mom at 3:30AM, she probably totally FORGOT to hit “post comment” !!! HAHAHAHAHA Thanks for saving us. We loved the way this particular photo turned out with that Lunapic effect too – it made it very “tactile” Mom said (whatever that means).

  19. Okay, I think this is my new favorite! And could the effect be better named… I just love it! So HAPPY about your rain, Virginieeeeeeeeeeeeee! We had rain this morning and hit an all time high dew point high for us… 80! I am tickled beyond words for the puzzle which just usually takes me elebenty hundred minutes!

    • The record puzzle putting-together time for this one that I know of is 18 minutes – how’d you do???????????????? We had rain most of yesterday and all through the night and it’s continuing into this morning and will continue ALL WEEK. We are getting soggy and moldy – oh well – we asked for it!!!!!

          • You know Teddy an Lady Pam mee was purrty calm all week dee-spite LadyMum beein sick. Mee went fur a walk efurry day an had condo time….butt still over groomin. LadyMum finkss mee needss more meddysin butt it iss so xpensive mee can onlee take it once a day.
            Today (Furiday) was ALOT better! LadyMum iss MUCH improved an wee walked fur all most 2 hourss inn backyard!!! WOO HOO!!!
            Fankss fur carin so much about us. Yur wunderfull ❤

          • Siddhartha I’m glad that you were better on Friday – maybe even with the medication there will be “good” days and “not so good” days. We were just happy to hear that things worked out for you and Ladymum with the help of your friends. Without friends, where would any of us be??

  21. Love how your paw is out with the lions on your cube. Plus that filter really adds to the whole image and the colours work so much better than the original. Great selfie Teddy, and I hope you had rip roaring dreams too….

    • It’s totally interesting as an art effect isn’t it??? Mom likes to make my photos even more interesting and sometimes it works – sometimes not – this time it was a win!
