Friendly Fill-Ins

Standard

Hello everyone!  Time for our regular Friday fun with our co-hosts, 15andMeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!    Each week they give us two sentences each with some words missing and WE supply the words thereby sharing a little bit of info about ourselves.  Cool huh?    If you click the badge above it will take you to 15andmeowing and YOU can join in the fun with us – just fill out the LINKY form!

This week’s sentences are below and I’m going to fill them in ALL BY  MYSELF this week………………..my fill-ins are in RED.

1. My favorite scent is rabbit – let me clarify – we have rabbits running around in our yard and while I’m not allowed to chase them, I do like to follow their scent and pretend I’m a great hunter!.

2. I hope to get plenty of naps this weekend.   (note from Mom:   Teddy gets plenty of naps every single day believe me!)
3. Mom’s whistle is music to my ears.   (note from Mom:   when Ted is out in the yard with his Dad and I come outside – I whistle and David drops the leash and Teddy comes running to me from wherever he is……I love it!)
4. Home is where I am SAFE.
I hope you enjoyed my fill-ins today!   Mom usually does them but this week’s sentences seemed to be perfect for me to take a whack at myself.   I always enjoy reading everyone else’s fill-ins and learning more about all of my friends.

Happy Friday!

Hugs, Teddy

P.S.  Tomorrow on Bakin’ With Bacon I will be in FRANCE with a bacon recipe for you!

  1. Aw, we LOVE your answers, Teddy AND your Mom’s added comments. Motor Mommy can just imagine how much your Mom loves having you run to her in the yard!

  2. I would love to be hiding some place in your yard and see Teddy in action… very sweet. Z would do that, not when I whistled but when I called her name, but she often got distracted briefly to scramble up a tree three or so feet and bounce off and then got back on track to me. Yes Teddy, we should all feel safe and at peace in our home. I loved your Fill-ins this morning. I can just see your Mom’s face as you come running to her… ♥ I am impressed that your Mom can whistle, but then she can do lots of fun and interesting things… 🙂

    • Mom says her Dad taught her how to whistle…..and showed her it was impossible to whistle when you were eating a cracker……and how to make a blade of grass whistle between your thumbs…..we’re not sure WHY I respond to a whistle but maybe before Mom someone else whistled to get my attention????? Angel Sammy loved to go about 3 feet up a tree when he was excited – usually right after he’d gone potty in the yard (tee hee).

  3. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I think that is so cute that you come when called when your Dad lets the leash go. I am sure you are a great hunter. Have a nice weekend!XO

  4. Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins, Teddy! Your answers are purrfect. The kitties around here don’t have much access to rabbits, but pup Astrid sure loves their scent. And I can just picture you happily running to your mom when she whistles, Teddy. I bet that makes her smile big time! Purrs, and happy Friday!

  5. Teddy, you really look like a pretzel in today’s photo. You did a superb job on the fill-ins. Remember #4 when you consider taking a walk-about by yourself again. Sending lots of love. 6. We love that rabbit scent too. Mom says we love it TOO much – how can that be???

That whistle game is a great way to train you in the event that you go off on another wandering trip:)

    • Yes that’s what Mom thinks – if I will come to her when she whistles maybe I will come back if I’m lost……but I think the possibility of FREEDOM is no longer available to me because Mom and Dad are both “re-committed” to making sure I have no FREEDOM…..doors closed, harnesses firmly in place from now on!

    • They are brazen little critters aren’t they? I think they just KNOW they are free to have their way with our yards since WE are usually inside – or in my case if I’m out I’m on a leash and can’t get UP CLOSE!

  7. OOhhh Teddy,
The Tribe of Five wants to see one of these rabbit things you talk about. Althouh, we do get to see some interesting wildlife in the woods (we watch them safely from the inside of our house).

    • Wabbits are Wascaly creatures (Elmer Fudd can testify to that!)……they blend right into the shrubs and can stay very still so you don’t sometimes see them unless their ears twitch. They can run VERY fast too and while I’m always on my harness and leash when I’m outside I can PULL PRETTY HARD sometimes and Mom or Dad will allow me to follow the scent! I hope you get to see a rabbit one of these days.

      • I would love to see a wabbit! There are some interesting smells in our garden but not sure if any of them are bunnies. When I’m in my harness and leash, I spend more time rolling around in the flowers than actually making any forward progress!

  8. It is great that you are safe at home. Stay away from those wabbits, they can be twicky. Have a blessed week.
