Time for Filling In!!!!
This is a truly FUN Blog Hop which is currently being hosted by our pals 15andMeowing and Four Legged Furballs. I’m going to fill the blanks in MYSELF today. It’s my turn – I can’t let Mom always have all the fun right? My own words are in BLUE.
1. It is wonderful having a forever home – I wish all animals did.
2. The best part of last week was when Mom and Dad came home after just one night away from me – when they leave I’m never sure when they will be back!.
3. Every summer, I beg and plead to be able to spend more time outside – even though I’m on a harness I LOVE being out there closer to squirrels and birds.
4. Once upon a time, I was a little 11 month old kitten who was living in an animal shelter and now I’m the King of my very own castle!.
There you have it – my filling in for Friday. Hope you will join in the fun. Have a great day………………I know I am – my Mom promised to take me for lots of walks today because it’s the last day of SUNSHINE we’ll have for a while……..more rain coming…………

I would LOVE a catio but I doubt that will happen. But as long as Mom takes me for walks around the yard I’ll be content……….

1. It is… a privilege to wake and see each day.
2. The best part of last week was…breaking my record walking.
3. Every Summer… I look forward to searching and finding different wildflowers to photograph.
4. Once upon a time…I discovered the wonder of Nature and its gifts to us. The sense of wonder never went away.

Oh Katie’s Mom, we love love love your #1 and #4 especially but my Mom says she’d really like to go out and capture some flower photographs too – many years ago she set off with her camera through the woods looking for unusual moss to photograph……..I think when you’re “into” photography, almost EVERYTHING is fascinating behind the lens! Especially kitties of course. Happy Friday!

My Dad is a party pooper – HE thinks that the deck out back is for HUMANS and not for him to enclose for ME and make a special cat-friendly spot. Pretty sad isn’t it? I gave him an alternative solution though – why not enclose the entire deck in screening and ALL of us can have a bug-free summer with fresh air? It would be a CATHUMAN-IO ! HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Mom has already taken me out TWICE which is amazing since she’s also been housecleaning and doing laundry…usually I have little success with whining at the front door! We hope all of you have a great weekend too and that Emmy starts eating like a good girl!

A good side effect of coming to your home from the animal shelter is that it makes room for another unfortunate in that shelter.

Yes – that’s the only good thing really and I’m glad for that……..lots of people go to our local shelter so whoever got “my spot” hopefully left soon thereafter with a family who was happy to have them!

Thank you for helping Miss Ellen out with the fill-ins fun. I know all of us who have spent time in a shelter or on our own in the wilderness with nobody to help us wish that ALL furbabies had homes. Maybe one day that will be true……we can only hope!

Hi Gang! I know all of us wish that our good fortune at finding the perfect home was something ALL animals could have….we can only hope. I’m sure I’ll get lots of outside time this summer since I’m such a good boy on my harness/leash. As long as Mom and Dad take me out a few times a day I’m one happy boy!

I TRY to chase squirrels but they are too fast for me….birds are hopeless – if I could fly I’d definitely be a “contender” – but my current FUN THING to chase is skinks! YES we have tons of them for the first time EVER Mom says since she and Dad have lived here. Some are little and very colorful and some are BIG and ugly but they all are fun to chase. WHEEEE!

I know that I am super blessed – I only had to spend TWO days in the shelter before Mom and dad snapped me up and brought me to my forever!
