Tuesday Teaser

Standard

Don’t forget to COMMENT!!

Good Morning……….time for the Teaser – are you ready?

Here we are – gathered together to try and figure out WHERE today’s photograph was taken…………could be anywhere on the globe……..but WHERE?   That’s your job to figure out!    I hope you’ve COMMENTED because you MIGHT win a badge if you are FIRST!

THIS ONE!   We’ll tell you tomorrow who gets one!

So onward we trudge to the object of today’s class…………..the piece de resistance – guessing the location of the photograph…………here are the rules you MUST follow when you guess:

Clear????

Clear as mud…..

I TOTALLY understand!!

Our photo is from a Guest Teaser today………….and before I ask our Security Expert to show you the photo, I thought you might enjoy hearing from our Cheerleaders – WHO by the way – are all present and accounted for today after Suzie was left on her own yesterday!

Your whole team is here
We’re ready to cheer
No coughing, wheezing, or shedding of tears!
We may not be wealthy
But we’re finally healthy
So we’ll try to inspire
Set your minds on fire!
Good luck with your guess
We wish you SUCCESS!!
Tomorrow we’ll be back
We won’t cough, sneeze, or hack…
It was just a tummy bug
We had some accidents on the rug…
(whoops)

Thanks you all – you may be dismissed and we suggest you stop by the School Nurse’s office for a shot or pill or bottle of cough syrup or something before you leave!

Cough Cough – OH Noo! I’ve got the creeping crud!

Oh I’m sure you’re just fine……………probably just the heavy perfume Suzie has on today – you may be allergic to it.    Let’s move on.   Security Guard would you please bring in today’s Teaser photo for the students?

Here is today’s Teaser Professor Sam and Ted – sorry I was late….I got a flu shot on my way here – I heard some of the cheerleaders were SICK!

Where was this photographed???????

Hmmm….this is a toughie!

Remember if you are the FIRST RIGHT GUESSER, or if you are RIGHT with your guess but not first, OR if you are WRONG, you get an appropriate badge tomorrow !

Groovy……

Well I’m glad you think it’s GROOVY – we’ll see how well you all do with your guesses!    In the meantime, I’m happy to say that Miss Dingleberry has not let us down – you may sit AT your desks and study and work on research as to WHERE this photo was taken.    She has made it easy for you to stay in the classroom because she has just snacks for us today instead of a big lunch.   Pick your snacks, sit at your desk, and WORK HARD!     We will convene class in the morning and announce who wins what!

YEAH WHADDAYA WANT KID?????

Enjoy your snack and we will see you in class tomorrow!

  5. So NOW I know where I got my crud from! Or maybe the cheerleaders got their ickies from me. Well, I may be on my deathbed with a stubborn cold… but I refused to call off of work, and darn it, I’m not going to miss school either! Even when it comes to germs, sharing is caring…

So the Teaser… It looks like a church that someone turned into a prison (Otherwise, why would it be a Teaser photo in the first place). But then I noticed that this is another VERY SPECIAL hoosegow that has an ingenious way of keeping happy-footed inmates from escaping so easily. See that cross on the top of the spire? It’s not a cross. Of course it’s not a cross! If you look verrrrrrrry closely, you’ll see it’s actually a ladder that leads up to that cloud… and THAT’S where the prison is! Yeah, you wouldn’t be too tempted to try and break out of Cumulonimbus Penitentiary is one wrong step led to a 15,000 foot drop without a parachute, or parole…

    • That’s true – it is a heck of a long drop but with luck, you’d DIE before you hit the pavement and just fly away! See? Gotta look on the bright side of stuff. GET WELL SOON. I could send Nurse Ratchet (aka Marge) to your house for a little TLC!???

  6. That is a great cheer, I am glad you are all feeling better. I have no clue where this photo was taken, but Russia comes to mind. I know that isn’t specific enough and it is probably wrong. Have a great day! XO

  7. Not even close to first, and you stumped us again. It’s not the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. We’ll just have some snacks and sulk at our desks and wait for you to hand out the Greenies. We did quite enjoy the girls’ cheer today. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

  8. I didn’t forget which day it was, but we went out for lunch and so I am late. I think it is the Basilica of Saint Sernin in Toulouse, France which was a stopping off point for the Pilgrims on their was to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. We were there (Santiago) a few years ago and it absolutely tipped down with rain all day. We got soaked to the skin!

  9. I got so busy snoopervising the petcretary rummaging around in the all those boxes that came here last week, to sort them for keep/donate…but then we both remembered it was Tuesday! Oopsie!
No one is sickie here at least…maybe cause we did keep up with handwashing and staying out of sick places…no wait, petcretary works in a germ factory as she calls it…nursing homes for sure generate tons of them…its a wonder she doens’t have issues: She hardly evfur gets sick. Having mewed that, now she probably will, MOL!

I do see lots of good nesting spots for birds in that steeple! Tee-hee! A beautiful old structure from the 1100’s sometime…at least that is when there first was something there, which now is a historical site.
Its the Basilica of Saint-Sernin, Toulouse, France! I do wonder if not birds(pigeons) how many bells are in there to summon the locals to church??

    • It’s not easy snoopervising humans is it……but you DID make it to Teaser class and you DID guess and tomorrow we’ll TELL ALL about the photo! Your Mom is lucky not to pick up some kind of germ in the nursing home. My mom worked in hospitals for years and somehow escaped all the germs too – Mom said she was “too mean” to get the germs (hahahahaha).

      Hugs, Teddy
