SPARKS on Monday

Standard

Monday is back again…………!    Time to start another week with a dose of light – some focus maybe………letting us see that there is a whole NEW week ahead and it’s our choice to spend it in the light or not.    SPARKS is hosted by my good friend Annie at McGuffy’s Reader……….her idea was that within each of us is the ability to be engaged in our OWN life – we aren’t just blobs waiting to be pushed and pulled along – we have our own power within.    Sharing a quote or a photo or an idea every week helps!     She’s right……….this blog hop is a great way to start our week.    Thanks Annie for hosting this Hop.   If you want to join in just click on the graphic above and join in spreading some light with us all.

My quote this Monday is a little different from most of the ones I’ve posted on previous Mondays.     But it still is totally ME and it still may “register” with you!

I guess all of us – if we’re honest – can say that our lives weren’t exactly what we thought they would be back when we used to read fairy tale stories that always had happy endings.   But you have to admit that if you’re looking back and recognize all those bumps in the road of your life, the bumps just MIGHT have made you stronger as a person.    You may not have figured you’d be HERE when you had dreams of your future but know what?   THIS IS WHERE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE.    It is your life path.    So what we have to do is make it OURS.  Own it.   All the good, bad and ugly of it.    We are stronger because of it.    Sometimes it doesn’t feel that way but that’s because we’re choosing to see the negative side of it.

Anyway, that’s what I think………….and I really do believe that I am now, where I was MEANT to be…………….

Thanks again Annie for a chance to stand up on my “life soapbox” for a little bit on a Monday……….now I’m going to make today and the rest of this week MINE !!   Happy Monday everybody.

Love, Pam

  2. I love your Spark. I agree too. I’ve had some rough spot in my life, but they have shaped me into what I am today and it’s all good. I’ve very pleased with my life as you are. I’m exactly where I was meant to be.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to Teddy. ♥

    • The sad thing to me is that some people just don’t “see” that they are where they’re meant to be……but open hearts help with that don’t they?!?!?!

      Hugs, Pam

  3. That’s a great quote. My life is so much better than I ever imagined it could be, so I am happy it is where I am supposed to be. I’ve had a lot of bumps in the road on the way (as we all have), but I know those have made me better and stronger. Love and hugs, Janet

    • That’s how I feel too Janet as you know……lumps and bumps made me who and what I am and I’m “good” with that. I will admit that I didn’t always realize that at the time of one of those “bumps” but looking back at them I definitely am a BETTER and WISER me because of them. Love and Hugs……….

  4. When we stop and think about it, we are all exactly where we’re suppose to be! And, most of the time, we wouldn’t have chosen the path that got us there. Faith in the bigger picture is what gets me through those plot twists of life. 🙂

    • You’re right….I think the main thing is not to be afraid if you choose the path less traveled when given a choice of two paths to follow…..adventure is part of our journey and either way we arrive in the end just where we’re supposed to be.

  5. Really love this spark as it totally resonates with me. Life can throw us curve balls but ultimately the end result is hopefully what we actually need in life.
    Have a fabulous week.

    • Hi Pam……….I know myself that I’m a stronger person for having NOT ducked those curve balls when they’ve been thrown at me – they made me stronger….and less afraid to carry on!

  6. Pam, I believe this. And sometimes, it is just to help others along the path. I recently ended up comforting someone who was going through a similar situation to one I know too well. I had no idea. But, she did feel a bit lighter when we were through. It was a shock to me; I had no idea. But, she knew I had been down that road. Life is a journey. HUGS.
