EYES FRONT! SCHOOLBOOKS OPEN! TIME FOR CLASS!

Man oh man this is like being in the Army!

Time for the Teaser!    You all look alert and ready for class today.   Now I’m sure you all want to know if Sarge is OK – he had that little – er – um – ACCIDENT yesterday when he began his cheer but fortunately it was only his pants that were injured.   Sarge is at this moment resting comfortably in the school Jacuzzi in the teacher’s lounge.

So let’s get down to business – the business of TEASING.    Today we have a photo that is NOT a Guest Teaser………..that’s all I’ll say about THAT.    But it will be up to all of you to figure out WHERE that photo was taken.    You will study it and then make a guess based on what you see in the photo or what you THINK you see and will also follow these rules!

If you are the FIRST COMMENTER, FIRST RIGHT GUESSER, A RIGHT GUESSER NOT FIRST, A WRONG GUESSER – you will win an appropriate reward/badge to show off to the world!

Tomorrow as you all know is Valentine’s Day so we will be celebrating in class…………..Miss Dingleberry will have special snacks for us too – she and her cafeteria staff are working on that today so we won’t have a snack today.

Now you all have a good breakfast at home every single day before you come to school so I know you’re not STARVING – and our cafeteria staff is hard at work to make your Teaser Tell All/Valentine’s Day special so just be BRAVE.

I’ll be brave…….sniff……

Even though we have no big snack today, I can’t turn you loose for recess without something WARM in your tummy so please have some hot chocolate……………I brought it in from the teacher’s lounge.

    • It looks like Central Park in New York. We were there a few years ago and had a tour around in one of the cycle thingies. Poor bloke was shattered pedalling us around!

          • Yes we’re fine and hope you are too! It’s true though about Teaser morning – I try to answer all comments but some get away from me and sometimes there are SEVERAL at the same minute. I think I’m just getting OLD! 🙂

  10. I am going to make a guess and say this is a park. It has to be a big one so Central Park in New York is our guess.

    • Looks like class today is having the SAME THOUGHT all the way around……..I’m not so sure everyone is right……..there is always the pawsibility everybody is WRONG……..guess tomorrow we’ll TELL ALL and find out!

    • Wouldn’t that be a GREAT park to hang out in Cupcake? Lotsa trees to “visit” rather than the usual fire hydrant (!). I bet there’s some food around there too……..although I know your Mom wouldn’t let you snack on it!

  18. Poor Sarge- ouch! I am going to guess Central Park even though others have already guessed it too. And that is a place I have actually been, although I don’t recognize the statue. Great cheer ! XO

  19. Professor Teddy, I’m sorry I missed your Gotcha Day yesterday. Happy belated Gotcha Day! I’m glad Sarge is doing better. I’m going to guess Central Park in New York city. Thanks for the hot chocolate, it’s chilly here today.

  20. No snacks from Miss Dingleberry!?!? Well, I guess the operators at the Poison Control Hotline can take the day off…

    That is such a beautiful scene in the Teaser that you’d never guess the photo was taken in the middle of a prison. Yeah, note the bars along that corridor…. I did. You may be wondering why there would be trees in the middle of a maximum security jail… but you see, those aren’t trees! Really, they aren’t! That’s because long ago, the warden of Happy Tree Federal Penitentiary commissioned none other than THE Bob Ross to paint a mural on the walls and the ceiling. Yes, that amazing autumn scene was all done with a barn brush and a generous supply of phthalo blue (Or maybe phthalo red, if it exists). I don’t know how he pulled it off either… but there’s magic in that fro!

    • That Bob Ross dood could paint a tree in about 2 seconds with his barn brush so yep – I can see him doing a great wall mural that LOOKED like fresh air and beautiful landscape when actually it just took the focus away from the smell/look of dirty prison uniforms, food thrown out those tiny windows onto the floor, blood spattered walls and those haunting screams coming from the shower. I have also wondered if Bob may have actually used that fro of his to PAINT some of those trees – after all – those bushy brushes made for amazing evergreens in his paintings????!!! I NEVER missed his shows though – I was doing oil painting myself at the time and he was a master of that fan brush – because of him I learned how to make water “splash” in a painting……….

  21. I’ve got to quick going back for a second breakfast. I keep missing the teaser – snorts with piggy laughter. It’s a lovely park somewhere. I’m guessing USA – maybe somewhere in New York. Of course I’m a mere pig that doesn’t travel so who knows. Where’s Bashful to ask these questions when I need him. XOXO – Bacon

  23. I saw it and thought Central Park. Peep was hatched on Manhattan. The squirrel forgot to mention that it is a quick (depending on traffic) drive to Sing Sing which is “up the river”.

  26. Whoooooooooooooooa we are late. First the peeps went out for a pre-anniversary Breakfast a First Watch, then walking then when they came home they found all kinds of tree activity going on next door. At least 10 vehicles and machinery. Finally the neighbors are taking down all their 50’plus ginormous pine trees. Some within 20′ of our deck. We are thrilled too causing during ice and snow events they are scary to see looming over Manor Madi…..
    So all of the above being said….that photo is for 100% certainty not at Manor Madi

  27. Teddy, you and your mom have the best sense of humor. Poor Cooper, he’d never survive in the military. Cat Scouts is all he can handle. Now, Mom’s first inclination was Washington D.C., but the statue says, Central Park, New York City, N.Y, so I guess that means we are jumping on the bandwagon. Sarge is hysterical. Even if we rarely get here early or know the Teaser, we LOVE these fun posts.     • Teddy is with Cooper on that…….although he says he’d be in the military if he could START as a General and just sit in a nice office and let the underlings run the show! HAHAHA Sarge is a “hot mess” isn’t he? We do have a crew of characters at Ding Dong School that’s for sure! As for the Teaser – Sounds like Central Park is THE ANSWER but then again even with a statue that might say that it could be Central Park, Pennsylvania right RIGHT????? oh well………

  30. What no snacks? I guess if tomorrow is a great goodie day I understand. I just had breakfast anyway.

    At first mom thought of Paris but she knows these fall colours are unique to the eastern part of North America. Was it Ontario?….no, this looks like a humongous park. OK, we will say Central Park in New York City. That is our best guess.

  31. Ahhh, such lovely autumn colors and a peaceful scene it makes. I want to be there away from all this snow.
    I have been in parks like that, and they are always so pretty in their fall attire.
    Pawppy has been at this park…
    That is Central Park, NYC.
    But of course I am late…and not the first guesser by any means, MOL!
