Friendly Fun Fill-Ins

Standard

Time for all of us who join in this Blog Hop every week to FILL IN THE BLANKS!    This is a totally fun Hop too – co-hosted by our friends Annie at McGuffy’s Reader and Ellen of 15andMeowing.   It’s EASY too – just fill in the blanks in the sentences and join the hop (click on the badge above) – couldn’t be easier right???  Right!

My Mom is filling these blanks in this week…………her words are in BLUE!

1. The Winter Olympics are my FAVORITE Olympics sporting events – especially luge, ice dancing, bobsled, and ski jumping.

2. I think the most romantic movie (or book) is   “ALWAYS” with Richard Dreyfus……which is an older and not very well known movie but it tugs at my heart every time I see it.   There are so many others – this is just my current “romantic” favorite.

3. Recently, I had an odd experience when  I was about to call my sister and the phone rang and it was her calling me – actually this happens to us frequently!.

4. I believe that love  is forever…..even after LIFE stops.

OK Mom!   Thanks for taking over the fill-ins……….besides, I’m too young to be able to answer #2 – I’m not even two years old yet so what’s “ROMANCE” ?????????????????

Well, snoopervising you on this blog was exhausting Mom so I’m gonna do my SNOOZE THING!

Love, Teddy

  1. hahaha isn’t that amazing that such things like the phonecalls exist? the mama saw something yesterday she urgently needs, so she pondered about a good eggs-planation to tap her mother for subventions… the same moment her mother called and said she saw egg-sactly the same thing and if she should buy it for the mama…. life can be easy… sometimes…

    • Your Mama and HER Mama are on the same “wavelength” – I think my Mom and her sister are too….they do that a lot…..I say if they can do that on the phone then they should be able to communicate WITHOUT THE PHONE – right? The “Psychic Hotline” is there even though the phone might be out of service. LOL

  2. Oh, my…I love that picture of Teddy! xo Your phone story happens between Bill and I all the time. Or we will call each other at the same moment, which is confusing! I have never seen that movie, but i like Richard Dreyfus. I agree with your Olympic choices and about love! HUGS!!

    • “Always” is not a very well known movie….it’s just sweet and full of emotion but the “message” it carries is about never-ending love with a bit of a twist and that’s why I love the movie. I watch it at least twice a year and NEVER get tired of it.

  3. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I need to check the library for that movie. I guess you will be glued to the tv for the next 2 weeks 🙂 And I completely agree about love. Have a nice weekend! XO

  4. I love all the answers and especially the one about your sister. My mom and I used to do this. I sure miss her.

I linked this post to Feline Friday, because this shot of Teddy is adorable.

Have a purrfect day and weekend. ♥

    • Mom had that “communication” thing with only one other person in her life so far – and it was even stranger than her sister and Mom and the phone calls. I think maybe these things are kinda rare.

  5. Have to check out your movie, have not heard of it and I love Richard Dreyfus. Loved him in The Goodbye Girl! #3… it’s freaky good the way those things happen. Your #4… FOR SURE love is forever!

  6. When we have to do the fill-ins, my mind often goes blank. I have never heard of the movie, “Always.” Looked it up on-line. Probably the most romantic film for me; though I gave the answer of Titanic, is “The Way We Were,” with Robert Redford and Barbra Streisand. I have a friend in Kansas, and when we used to talk often, she would always call when I was thinking about calling her. Love has to be forever. If it isn’t it would just be too sad. Sending lots of warm hugs and love, Janet and angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer

    • Not really sure why “Always” kind of faded into the background but perhaps because it’s a little “different” – but the romance is FUN…..and acting is perfect. John Goodman cracks me up in his little bit part….we just think the idea of forever love is well done – Mom always cries at the end. As for “The Way We Were” – that’s a real classic. We truly believe love is forever – at least REAL love is.

  7. We love your answers. Mom can relate to so much of what you say. She loves all the same Winter Olympics events and is watching the opening ceremonies right now. She also agrees on the eternity of love.
