Tuesday Teaser

Standard

I think I hear the school bell – we’d better sit down before Miss Grumpy Marge comes in!

I foresee some demerits coming your way if Marge hears you!!!

I heard that! Two demerits for you!

Hello Students……FIRST – a reminder to COMMENT – you might be FIRST!  If you are you’ll win:

Shall we move forward with class?   Good.   Just as a reminder to those of you who need one that the rules for today when it comes to guessing WHERE the Teaser photo was snapped are STRICT – here they are for you to tattoo on your arm so you REMEMBER!

Do your best – that’s all we ask.    We know how easy it is to have your computer figure out where the photo was taken but we think it’s more FUN to just plain use your eyeballs and brain (assuming you have those).

Gosh I’m the class dunce and even I have a BRAIN!!

Today we have a TWO-PHOTO-TEASER.     Two photos from the same place.   Maybe that will give you TWICE the hints or maybe it will be TWICE as hard.   We will find out today won’t we?!    If you are the FIRST to guess correctly where the photos were taken here’s what you get:

IF you’re RIGHT but you aren’t FIRST:

And if your guess is WRONG…………….well…………you get this:

Let’s get the show on the road shall we?

Let’s GROOVE!

The first part of today’s “show” is special because Suzie and her girls have a big surprise for you……………

Holy mackerel look who’s here!
Bobby’s with us to jump and cheer!
We decided to invite him to join our group
He’s not only cute but he’s one brave troop!
So now we are four and we think you’ll agree
Bobby fits right in and suits us all to a “T” !
Flippity Flappity Foo Foo Flobby
Welcome to our new Cheerleader Bobby!

Congratulations Bobby and good luck – I think you might need it.

Let’s bring in our wonderful and “oh so efficient” Security Guard who will display TWO photos for your viewing enjoyment this morning – as soon as you think you know where this is, GUESS AWAY!    Tomorrow at the TELL ALL we will hand out awards……….you know you want one!

Here is today’s Teaser Professor Sam and Ted

IDEAS???  Where is this????

Hmm……this is a toughie!

Good thing I gots new eyeglasses yesterday so I can SEE the photos!

I’m REALLY concentrating!!

Miss Dingleberry made us a Mexican feast today.   Don’t ask me why she chose that but she did and I’m sure we’ll enjoy it.   Maybe she’s adding a little HEAT to our diet since it’s colder than cold outside?     I would still suggest you NOT add any extra hot sauce.    You might have ISSUES on the bus on the way home from school today!

I’ll bring some extra toilet paper wiff us on the bus home!

Milkshakes!

SEE YOU TOMORROW FOR THE TELL ALL!

**** and good luck on the ride home today on the bus ****

    • Suzie has a crush….in fact I think the others have a “thing” for Bobby too. I imagine it’s going to get rather INTERESTING around here! So you think the Teaser is in the UK? Maybe…….we’ll find out tomorrow!!!!!!!

    • Good Morning!!! Good luck with the Teaser OR if you are “passing” on the Teaser you can always just warm up with Miss Dingelberry’s Mexican feast (good luck in that case……..eeeeek).

  3. In the background of the first photo, you will notice the world’s only mobile prison in the form of a cable car. This penitentiary on rails first opened in 1849 as a hoosegow for the bad guys of the gold rush. In 1959, the prison chef invented the legendary Rice A Roni… which today is still solely manufactured by prisoners of the Bay Area Cable Car Unique Prison (Unique isn’t really in the title, but I had to come up with the acronym BACCUP somehow). If you ever want to know what the real San Francisco Treat is, just step into the cable car’s shower….

    • It’s not SF because that trolley is in good shape, not like those of SF’s Muni. That church steeple isn’t the Transamerica Pyramid. A city that has Alcatraz doesn’t need another prison.

    • Oh I always love knowing the “back story” (no pun intended on the cable car shower of course) of the Teaser Prison Photos. This has a most interesting one as I had NO IDEA that the BACCUP gang manufactured Rice A Roni! I hope their acronym is not a reflection of the effect their “product” has on them. That presents a whole NEW problem on that cable car!

      Hugs, Teddy (and Mom too)

  4. Look how early we are. Of course, not early enough. But yeah, Mom. We are jumping on the Old Town Alexandria trolley (get it!). MOL. That was Mom’s first thought , and it sure looks like that’s what the majority is thinking as well. Prayers that Dad David is feeling better today after his magic potion. • Now that Mom is home again, we got to come back and read the entire post. Welcome, Bobby, to the cheer squad. We’re thinking you all need to have some special Teaser uniforms made for you! And thank you Miss Dingleberry for the delicious Mexican noms. We see you turned in your Valentine’s Day tiara/hairnet for a sombrero. Very festive. • I think Miss Dingleberry has her Valentine’s Hairnet UNDER the sombrero. LOL I think the cheer team will eventually all wear the same uniform instead of all of them wearing whatever they want to – but that will certainly be in the FUTURE. The Sewing Department at Ding Dong School doesn’t have the time!!!

  5. Welcome Bobby! I am so glad Suzie let you join the team. I am going to guess San Fransisco because that streetcar looks just like the ones in the Rice-a-Roni ads 🙂 XO

  6. I am late. Again. We are in a snow pattern here. So, I have been shoveling snow, 2-3 x daily. We have snow predicted every day. Friday, they predict 9″! So, I have been busy clearing paths. Stella and Kenzie are short, so I clear their area, too. As for the Teaser…I know where it isn’t!
See you later, when I catch up on commenting! HUGS! Love you guys.

  7. I’m afraid I have cognitive dissonance. I saw the second pic first and thought that it’s quite Central-European or North-West-European. The first pic seems to be from South-Europe. Maybe I’m on the wrong continent?

    • One thing is for sure – there are a LOT of streets in the good old USA in certain sized towns especially that really look VERY SIMILAR……good old U.S. of A. cities for the most part DO have “a look” about them.

We’ll find out tomorrow about this city!

  9. Uh oh, I forgot it was Tuesday again! In my defence, we are redecorating the kitchen. I must be so engrossed in my work! I don’t have any idea where it is but see there are a lot of guesses for the same place so it is probably right. I wouldn’t have known it though.

    • OH WOW on redecorating the kitchen. My Mom demands photos! Tee Hee…………come by tomorrow any old time and find out where the photos were taken…….sometimes people think they are RIGHT and they are WRONG.

  10. OK…Thanks for the Mexican chow Mrs. Dingleberry…*chomp*…good…very hot!! Thanks for thwe water Suzie. The buildings are brick, a sure sign of the US. There is a cable car but this is not SF. No hills. The scenery looks quite tidy and stately. I will say Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. We must put Virginia in here or it could be some other Old Town.

Anypaws my peeps have been there, since its not that far from Washington DC where pawppy grew up.
Its Alexandria, Virginia! USA!! Well, duh! MOL!

And yes it sure is looking nicer there than here where we are all of about 20 outside. Brrr. And more snow on the way, though at the moment there is some sun to tease us with its rays.

  13. We were going to say San Francisco because that looks like a trolley car, but we’re probably wrong because lots of cities have those things now.

    Like

    • You’re right – lots of people are hopping on the trolley bandwagon – it’s a nice way to move quickly up and down a boulevard or busy shopping street……..they are only in Old Town Alexandria around here though!
