Let’s Fill In Some Sentences OK?
Friday is here and that means that we will be pawticipating in our fun Friday activity of joining this blog hop co-hosted by Ellen of 15andMeowing and Annie of McGuffys’ Reader where we fill in blanks in sentences that they give us! What’s fun about that? Well we sure learn a lot of interesting stuff about each other – that’s what’s fun! If you’d like to join in, click the graphic above and join by filling in the LINKY TOOL. Simple as that – then fill in the sentences and visit everyone else who did.
Here are our four sentences for this Friday. I’m going to try to fill them in myself (in green) but if I get stumped I’ll let Mom take over (in red)!
2. A house is not a home without LOVE and I get plenty of that around here!.

Who’s “BIG” – not me – I’m just a little kid – heck I’m not even TWO yet!
More chasing round the house seems to be in order 😀

Good morning Teddy. Those are some great Fill Ins. You should have fun all the time and if you play lots you should lose weight. And you have lots of love to give.

I do play a lot but I also sleep a lot – however my Mom says that’s “typical cat”………SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO as long as my vet says I’m not overweight maybe I should just RELAX about it. My Mom isn’t worried, my Dad isn’t worried (but calls me “chubby”, and my vet said I’m just a BIG CAT. Somewhere in the middle of all that I think I make out pretty well! HAHAHA

You and mom both get your exercise!
My guiding word(s) is…if you eat it, write it down and don’t accidentally (ha!) forget to).
A house is not a home without a cat in it.
I look forward to non below freezing temps so mom can get out again and walk lots.
Mom and I both need to lose weight!

My Dad is still out there in this ridiculous cold taking a walk every other day – at least a mile…….my Mom says “no way”……..she doesn’t want to have to wear ten pounds of coat/scarf/gloves/hat and trudge around the development so I guess she will just have to go the gym. At least it’s warmer than 4 degrees there!

I’m always on a diet, I eat like a bird. If I get too fat, I can’t take off and fly.
LikeLike
You SHOULD eat like a bird….I have to say I’ve never seen a FAT bird nor have I ever seen diet birdseed. If Teddy ate more like a bird than a pig he probably would NOT weigh 19 lbs. right now – on the other hand if he ate like a bird he’d have a MIGHTY loud SQUAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWK!

Hey Teddy, having fun is top on my list but I find a nap is getting to feel better as I run out of steam. Until you lose a bit…you will run out of steam too. I also have gained weight over the winter but am trying to lose it. I will lose some in the spring when I jump up on the fence. Right now, I’m having trouble getting on the sink…..how the mighty have fallen. tsk tsk.

Fun and Love sound like two words that go together very well, Teddy.
We don’t know a lot about what kitties should weigh, but we don’t like the words “lose weight” – maybe you are just a BIG boy like Lightning:)

Teddy, one of the reasons my human has me is because I’m a little cat – I’m just 7 lbs., which is typical for my breed! I don’t know why, but non-breed kitties (except for Maine Coons and Chausies, basically) run rather small. Binga and Boodie are both close to 10 lbs., which is a typical size for nonbreed girl cats. Binga weighed more when she was younger!

Sammy weighed 14 lbs. at his biggest….but that was for a very brief time………We kinda think once this ridiculous winter weather is NORMAL with the exercise I’ve missed going outside for walks I’ll slim down a bit. Mom wants me to be healthy but I’m eating what the doc told me to eat…Sammy almost exclusively ate wet food and I won’t touch it…….might have something to do with things but who knows!! Seven pounds is a perfect size……. 🙂

Too bad you don’t like canned food, Teddy – that is all we eat! That, and some raw. And we love it.
LikeLike
Mom would prefer I eat wet – she’s tried everything including raw and I just won’t eat. OF course I could probably exist for a week without eating at my size (!) but she worries if I refuse wet so gives me the dry. I’m not trying to be a pain, I just prefer the dry stuff. She will probably keep trying – she’s persistent!

I know 2018 will be filled with fun for you, Teddy. You are a big boy! You are heavier than Eric was when he was 2. He was 23 pounds at his heaviest though. Flynn was never more than 16 pounds, but he could never walk. He always had to run everywhere.

I’d not mind being a biggie like Eric was…..Mom had friends who had two 25 lb. cats once. I think Eric and Flynn had it made though – they had those beautiful fields to run and play in and keep fit and trim. Eric might have been big but he was FIT……….I am going to try to be like that too!!!

I am sorry for being so late. One step forward, three back. Sick dog, Kenzie, is better. But, as you know, we had some very bad news about Clyde. However, we are determined to not let it steal joy.
