A Christmas “Spark”

First of all MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone…………………and secondly, thank you Annie of McGuffy’s Reader for starting up this SPARKS Blog Hop because it has allowed those of us who have joined the Hop to share uplifting and inspirational thoughts on Mondays – your idea of bringing a little light into a sometimes dark corner of our day or week has certainly done just that and then some.   What better way to start a week than with light and love?    If you would like to join in this wonderful Hop of Annie’s – just click the graphic above and join in.

My SPARK for today is in honor of Christmas and the LIGHT that comes from remembering the reason for the season…………it really is all about love – the love that the the star in the night sky foretold of the coming birth of the Savior……..AND it’s about the love that we have for our fellow man.    The more love and light there is, the more we will actually SEE the path we are on and move in the right direction.

We don’t have to wait – we should love all year round !

    • We love this Marv………and it’s ever so true. Faith, Hope and Love are the BEST gifts ever……….we hope there’s plenty of all of that going around at your house – and we are sorry we didn’t know it was your Mom’s birthday but hope that added to the big family celebration at your house!     • We all had a really nice Christmas and hope all the Kitties Blue Crew – old and new (!) had a wonderful time celebrating too! Oh – and here’s hoping Santa Paws was good to all humans as well!!!!!

  28. I really love this. And, I agree. It is my goal to try to maintain it. It is a good goal.
    Bill is back on the road, but will have another long weekend. I am trying very hard to keep up, but will be unplugged again this weekend. But, I am not complaining! The holidays are time consuming, but in a good way! Enjoy yours, too, HUGS!

  29. Loving others….great quote you share. Sometimes not so easy to do, but is rewarding and an important thing to do as when you love others, the warmth they get from that love is then returned as a gift back to you. 🙂
